We got strong drafts in the last 2 years. I can already imagine some of the kids rule the NBA in 4-5 years. I think in 2025 one of them will be talked about like the 2004 draft. The question is how many of them will become superstars.

So what do you think, who is stronger potential wise from what we seen so far?

2014: Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Clarkson, Smart, Exum, LaVine, Payton, Noel, Mirotic, Embid.

    Vs

2015: Portzingis, Russel, Winslow , Mudiay, Towns, Okafor

The league will become a big guys league in the near after GSW future. Too many great big guys like Drummond , Cousins , Davis and the new young kids - Okafor and KAT will be in the mix. Embid is a question mark.

Mirotic and Porzingis will hands down be the best european players for years to come.

after a Curry and Wesbrook downfall there will be a new battle for top PG. I can't see Kyrie and Lillard reach that level. Will see where is the limit for Russel , Mudiay , (Clarkson/Lavine?).

Wiggins, Parker will be in the mix for top SF with Antetokounmpo running after the last fuel of Lebron , Durant and George. And I can see Winslow making a big jump when Wade hands him the keys.

The top PF race is still open (other than Davis).

Harden and Butler are good, so does Thompson... But I can't see another player like Kobe and Wade for years to come. And it's a shame for the SG position.

Noel was 2013 and Mirotic was 2011 actually.

    I think if you're talking 2014 vs. 2015 draft you're looking at:

Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, Elfrid Payton, Aaron Gordon, Jusuf Nirkic, Dante Exum, and maybe Gary Harris.

Karl Anthony-Towns, Jahlil Okafor, D'Angelo Russell, Emmanuel Mudiay, Kristaps Porzingis, Myles Turner, Mario Hezonja, Stanley Johnson, and Justise Winslow.

Of the two I'm taking the 2015 draft definitely, but both of them had some really nice pieces. There's also other guys who can be late bloomers like Bobby Portis, Devin Booker, and Rashad Vaughn. Some role player types like Larry Nance Jr., RJ Hunter, and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Or from 2014 Doug McDermott, Marcus Smart, TJ Warren, Zach LaVine, James Young, and maybe Nik Stauskas.

I think it's just funny how the 2014 draft was hyped to be the best draft in the history of drafts, and then the very next year's draft might turn out to be even better.

Shows you what the draft hype machine can do
