Missing out on a max guy isn't the worst thing, if we can get two good players at the SF/C spot. Could help us more.
Won't put too much into that, but nice to see our name up there again with him.

Chandler is a really good get if we end up "striking out".
Kobe should try and recruit some bigs.
Only way I see us trading Russell... 1. We completely strike out in FA, especially with bigs. 2. SAC essentially takes Russell for Cousins...
Now to get rid of Young...

Its probably more likely that Ed Davis is back than getting 1 of those 3.
Wonder what he wears when the setting is casual.
So Aldridge likely to go to SA/Mavs Jordan - Clips/Mavs Monroe - NY
Randle is strong, and he knows how to use his body to his advantage. Accompany that with his aggression, you'll see a lot of the same advantages...
Early rumblings have us behind the Spurs and Mavs for Aldridge, and the Clippers having a slight edge over everyone for Jordan.
We don't need to sell out for an offensive center, we should focus on guys who play defense and rebound consistently. Thats something this team needs.
A part of me understands him, and he is young so...but another part of me is saying suck it up and be a professional already.
He would be on the last options on my list, would probably sign Chandler over him as well. I do think he is going to the Knicks though.
Chandler is pretty much a fall back option, a good one at that.
Of course if we can somehow get Young moved that helps, but I don't see that happening. One thing I don't ever understand is the exceptions teams...
If he really doesn't like playing center much, which seems like that is the case we need to have a solid plan to assure him he won't be there much.
