Raptors/Pacers about to tip off Game 7. I'm going with Indiana on the road. Just don't trust the Raptors in such a high tension situation. Paul George has been unstoppable in this series. I think he'll carry them to victory.
......and I will defer to others happily that Miami, even with Bosh unfortunately not available, is a tougher matchup for LeBron and his excuse already lined up if they were to lose ..... too weak supporting cast.
I don't know. He brought energy and played hard but 10 for 32? The kid CANNOT shoot. I think I read that he shot 29% for the entire series. DO NOT WANT.
DeRozan didn't shoot well, but he was clearly the biggest reason Toronto won that game. He took over the game in the third quarter and gave them a cushion. His defense was also solid as well. He rushed some shots, but he's actually a decent mid range shooter. He's 34 percent from three for the season so not great or terrible. A lot of the bad shots is the Raptors offense. They run as many isolations as anyone in the league. Whenever they actually had coming off screens and getting his attempts off movement he was efficient.
I think the Hawks showed something tonight....they coulda folded and gotten blown out tonight but they stormed back to take the lead in the 4th....unfortunately they ran out of gas. I think they had a ton of wide open shots that they uncharacteristically missed tonight. I expect this to be a series...but Cavs still win it in 6.
I think the Cavs do just enough to make them a team capable of beating anyone. They're not super explosive, their pieces still don't mesh well, but everyone contributes just enough, considering they have a good amount of elite players and LeBron of course, to continue to make them a tough team. As much as I don't want them to win, they're going to beat the Hawks easily. No one on that team can stay in front of LeBron, and Kyrie has more speed than Jeff Teague. Also LeBron isn't forcing anything anymore, he knows his jump shot hasn't been the same, so he's become a point guard basically and is distributing the ball instead of forcing up shots all the time. He's at his best when he's playing like a point guard. He peaked at the right time.
Same story as last season's series between these 2 teams ... ATL missing open shots ( Hawks were not healthy last season against the Cavs though) One shot for Korver in 37 minutes isn't going to get it done . Hawks starting 5 ( minus Korver) is shooting poorly in this posteason ( 41.3% for Horford who usually is a good shooter)
Yep. I don't like how bad Horford has been in these playoffs, and I sure hope we're not targeting him as an FA. I don't want a player on the wrong side of 30 on this squad making $25M. The guy I do like though on the Hawks? Kent Bazemore. He will be cheaper than all the other wings out there....and we could probably get him on a $15M deal as opposed to $20-25M that all the other wings are going to get. He used to play for us, and he would be perfect for us at both wing spots. Young 2-way player that also happened to play for GS before his stint with us.
^^^ We could have had Bazemore for under 2 mil per year. That's what he's making right now. I loved him in his short run with the Lakers, was bummed we let a guy go that seemed to enjoy being here and was clearly improving. Same with Ed Davis, we've consistently let quality players walk to go after ridiculous pipe dreams like LeBron, Melo and Aldridge.
Sounds like Bosh is showing grit Boron would be proud of and wanting to play but the organization is of course concerned, and the condition nothing to mess around with. He's claiming the clotting has cleared. Scary stuff and the guy still wants to PLAY. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/blogs/...roads--over-his-health--return-191756966.html
Lowry was awful again tonight. DeRozan actually played well, but they more from their supposed elite point guard. He's got to at least match Dragic's production or this will be over quickly.
