*makes sure it's not April 1st*

Thank you!!! Looks like someone in the front office came to their senses. I'm happier now than when Mike was fired. Both of them.

This is what Kings Landing must have felt like when Joffrey was no longer King.

Money talks. If we land #2 (Ingram) , we all of a sudden have two potential young stars who can shoot, two young bigs, a decent bench scorer, and a ton of cap room. NBA players seem to respect this man. He's a strong, silent type. Somewhat orderly, but definitely not insane and he actually knows how to work rotations and design schemes. It could be a home run hit. A brilliant mind who has spent a lot of time speaking with Pop. That could make him great if he can run the show. Look at Budenholzer.

Yeah. This is encouraging. That said, list of candidates Woj said we could be looking at: JVG, Messina, Luke, and Ollie. I could me missing one. However, I think the Lakers make a splash with this hire. They'll get it right.

Thank the good Lord, it's about time.

Better start calling some effing coaches right now. Luke gets the first call.

Yeah. I think we nail this one. I honestly have a feeling Luke is our guy but I like all the guys mentioned.

Guys I'm just... at this point I'm not even happy, I'm just relieved. I was preparing myself for the absolute worst case scenario.

At least the FO isn't completely inept...

Messina, Walton, or Ollie are all great options I think.

I like Luke too, but honestly, isn't he a bit inexperienced?

This is huge for free agency depending on who we hire. Thankfully plenty of candidates are left. Call Luke, call Messina, Ollie, get creative. Just please no Mark Jackson. I don't want another old school guy who's coaching style is "play harder" (watch his huddles when he was miched). He's a B0ron type, old school, play hard, no creativity. Get someone that knows how to run an offense and teach defense, that will hire competent assistants, that will work well with young players, not be a drill sergeant, not all bark and no brains. Above all though, I get to watch the Lakers next season! I wasn't gonna watch if we kept B0ron, I was genuinely worried, I'm thrilled with this, such a deserved firing.
