    Byron Scott jokes

Byron Scott is the worst NBA coach ever. This is a fact. There have been rumors this week that Byron will return for another year. The Lakers fan base waits with bated breath for the front office to make a decision while we also wait for the draft lottery, and our sanity hangs in the balance. In the spirit of hating every second of Byron’s coaching tenure, I present to you: Byron Scott Jokes!

Byron Scott holds completely still during games because he thinks he is posing for an oil painting.

Jesus wears a necklace of Byron Scott’s crossed arms around his neck.

Byron Scott’s moustache was actually just smeared chocolate that he messily ate 20 years ago and no one had the heart to tell him.

Byron Scott is allergic to his own head.

Byron Scott has his girlfriend wear a Kobe Bryant mask in the bedroom.

If Byron Scott were a pair of headphones, he would be impossible to untangle.

Byron Scott was an extra in the 1992 Disney film “Newsies.”

Byron Scott is actually just a giant thumb.

Like a boxer, Byron Scott coats his head in Vaseline before every game.

Byron Scott doesn’t own a cell phone because communication feels too gay for his comfort.

In an ironic twist, Byron Scott was born a hermaphrodite.

Byron Scott sticks his foot out and trips all of the rookies when they get up to check in because they gotta earn right to not be hazed.

Brian Shaw thinks Byron Scott is out of touch with young players.

Whenever Byron Scott hears the Ludacris song “All I Do is Win” on the radio in the car, he involuntarily swerves off of the road and runs into a tree.

Byron Scott is actually just a cardboard cutout with a tape recorder behind the face that plays generic coaching platitudes.

When drawing up a play at the end of the game, he just writes, “Showtime!” on the whiteboard.

Byron Scott is the Sega Dreamcast of NBA coaches.

Byron Scott is actually a Madam Tussauds wax statue that was made sentient by a voodoo witchdoctor.

If Byron Scott was ever charged with murder, he would instruct his defense team to go under all screens.

In his spare time, Byron Scott loves crossword puzzles, cross-stitching, crossfit, and listening to 90’s hip-hop duo Kris Kross.

When Byron Scott buys a houseplant, he doesn’t water it, he just screams at it to “Man up!” He has a lot of dead plants in his house.

Byron Scott’s IQ is lower than his team’s defensive rating, but higher than their offensive rating.

Byron Scott is the Christian Science Church of NBA coaches.

Byron Scott is so good with point guards that he once made eye contact with Brandon Jennings for five seconds and that night Brandon Jennings scored 55 points.

An assistant coach once tried to give Byron a report of advanced analytics. Byron burned the coach to death for being a witch.

At practice, Byron Scott raises his hand and asks Kobe for permission to use the bathroom.

I didn't say there were good. And NO, I did not right them.

I think this was my favorite.

"Tom Thibodeau is nearing agreement on a five-year deal in the $10 million range annually to become the coach and president of basketball operations of the Minnesota Timberwolves, league sources told ESPN.com.

Sources told ESPN.com that Thibodeau and the Wolves were in the final stages of negotiations Wednesday on a deal that would give ‎the former Chicago Bulls coach full control of basketball operations in Minnesota."

It definitely seems like the Lakers have a plan of keeping Byron unless they get one specific coach that they want.

I'm guessing they want Luke or bust. They're not interested in Thibs' power grab, they're not interested in a retread Brooks, Van Gundy, etc... They're probably not interested in Messina or any college coach because they're not exciting enough.

It's probably Luke or bust and that's it. If Luke stays in GS, Byron stays here to finish his contract and then they'll approach it again next summer. If Luke stays in GS long-term, then they'll have to figure something else out next year.

Apparently, Luke is reportedly interviewing with the Kings after the first round of their series against Houston is completed. At least Luke is exploring the possibility of vacant head coaching positions.

What's with coaches wanting and getting team president/GM duties these days? You're a coach, just go out and coach, that's your job. How can they even have time to do both jobs and give both the full attention they need?

He won't be GM. Basically Thibs is only going to be worrying about coaching, but now the GM works for HIM and not the other way around. Interesting concept.

I heard the Kings were interested, but not that Luke had actually agreed to interview.

If Luke is open to leaving the Warriors, then I'll rejoice. It's just a matter of the Lakers breaking enough of the bank to get him here. Right now though it's really seeming like the Lakers will stand pat and that's infuriating.

Luke Walton is expected to meet with Vlade Divac after the first round to discuss the Sacramento Kings' head coaching vacancy.

Walton had a conversation with Phil Jackson that was leaked to the media as an informal job interview.

“Right now, I just want to focus on the playoffs,” Walton said Monday before Game 2 of the Warriors-Rockets series. “I don’t want this (speculation) to take away from what we’re trying to do. So I really don’t want to talk about it. I hope you understand.”

Walton ascended the coaching ranks when he led the Warriors to a 39-4 record without Steve Kerr.

With Kerr's uncertain health status and the Warriors' contender status, Walton can afford to be picky when it comes to a head coaching opportunity.

Interesting. Phil and Luke were both quick to squash the NY thing as a job interview. I think that's more likely just a social call, but I'm sure they discussed his future as a coach.

If Luke is open to it, then the Lakers have their guy. They just have to make the move.

What's weird is waiting. Why wait? We actually are LOSING bargaining power the longer we wait as coaches interview at other positions. Say for whatever reason Luke chooses somewhere else, now what? Fire him NOW and make our position clear: we need a new direction.

Thibs to Minny and here we are deliberating whether Byron f***ing Scott should coach another year. FFS.

Byron coaching next year, Phil coming back to push the franchise further into the ground the following year.

Please get the number 1 pick and some free agents to wash the stink out of the crap storm that is coming.
