Clarkson, take the QO. Please. We need more flexibility in free agency without have to be encumbered by your $7-9 million dollar contract that you might possibly get; then again, if we bring Byron back, you might be the best free agent we sign. LOL!!!. Either way, Clarkson, despite struggling toward the end of the season, and through your injuries, you're a fine basketball player; obviously, you still need to work and get better defensively, but I'd gladly pay you to re-sign. Congrats, Clarkson.
I like the kid and the one thing I know he'll do is put in work. I don't know if that work will pay off, but I know he'll be working hard this summer. Come back with some defensive principles and footwork, come back with passion. If we don't make any big moves this summer, Clarkson will likely be our highest paid player. Hopefully he can live up to that. And I'm sure being the guy who had Kobe's final assist will mean a lot to him as he gets older. Great moment for him and the team last night.
Good. Hopefully they take Kobe's advice to heart. And since they live close to each other, they can carpool and go work with Kobe in OC.
Im sure as hell Kobe will find more than enough time to show the young guys what's what . He invited Wiggins and Lavine to come over this summer as well. I'm damn sure the Lakers are a priority though. Who better to learn from.
I truly wonder what these kids think of just the IDEA of calling Kobe for advise. He's such an elder statesman and really a legendary figure. I wonder if they really did train with him personally this year or if they will this summer. I'm not sure. Listening to D'Angelo's exit interview he really wants to find his own way to the promise land. Not that he doesn't respect or admire what Kobe did, but he doesn't think that is HIS journey to make necessarily. So I wonder if he's really interested in going to Kobe for specific basketball advice. Clarkson and Randle I think are the kinds of kids who are earnest and would take Kobe's advice to heart no matter what. D'Angelo seems more like he beats to his own drum and will either succeed or fail on his own path which is actually a great thing for the team if he can mature up a little bit.
Jordan getting after it already ..... working on his hops :Headbang: http://mashable.com/2016/04/16/kendall-jenner-jordan-clarkson-coachella/#1Un6lyjDsZq2
Come on Jordan, get you some of that Kardashian money so that you can give us a huge discount in free agency.
What is it with our players and the Kardashians? Don't these guys pay attention? Don't play with fire, don't try poison for fun, don't play on the railroad tracks or something, etc..
