I have so much respect for D'Angelo Russell. A bunch of spoiled adult men acting more immature than he is, about something that shouldn't have existed in the first play. The young man made a mistake, and Nicki Young is walking around here soaking up apologies like he deserves it. This Bro code mess is the dumbest thing ever, and it seems to me that crap is more important to them than trying to contribute to this organization by helping it get back to the promise land it was once at. Everybody should have sorted this out behind the scenes and put an end to it like grown men. I have the highest respect D'Angelo Russell more than anyone else on this team not named Kobe. He and Kobe seem to be the only mature one's about it, the rest are a bunch of spoiled entitled brats, messing up the team.

These guys are extremely Elementary and is probably why we can't move forward. I don't care about bro codes and hurt feelings over some stupid tape incident. I care about the team and keeping this organization afloat. Hopefully we clean shop with some of these clowns and begin the rebuilding process.

And the fans disappointed me with booing I'm so disgusted. I want to say some other stuff, but I better not go there...

I don't know. I think Julius Randle handled about as well as could be expected. He stayed out of their mess and let them handle it while treating them exactly the same as he did before. Of all the young players on our young team, he's the most mature to me. He's mature enough not to be taking videos of people saying stupid things. He comes to work, works hard, then goes home and stays out of trouble.

We are clearly missing the women's perspective on this site. I couldn't agree more with this post with one exception - what Real mentioned - Randle handled this situation very good as well.

It's great to see you post Jazzygirl!

You know this one is going to hurt. Will get everyone's view and terrible imagery plus has Kobe in it. Yikes.

Whatever he originally had planned for fun this summer or a break, just had to have gotten scaled way back. Only way he stays confident is by knowing he can dominate and beat opponents out there. This is the fuel that Kobe lived on. But Kobe looked for it too. I don't think DAR is wired like that, has his own ways of being motivated. But this changes all that, he has to now take on that Kobe don't give a **** what you think or who you are .... I'm going to be beat your a** and take no quarters doing it .... mentality.

A rat bastard that's what he'll be known, until he leads this team to a crown.
But we're doomed unless Boron is let go, and we, at least hire a Thibodeau.

I am not sure if you call him that as a joke, but you should really stop.

That's akin to "Lakers" fans calling Kobe a "ra..st" back in the day. Not cool even as a joke.

    My 2 cents.

I couldn't care less about this soap opera .

All I know is Young isn't good at playing b-ball whereas DAR has a chance to be very good at it.

We're living in a stupid world in which people are actually obsessed with celebrities lives and feel forced to have an opinion on everything .

Ballers are not role models and will never be ... Just judge them on the court

I'm calling him that for the week of fools, the shenanigans with Nick, both of them tools,
If they can't be pros I'm not a fan, they can't have my respect as a birthright, man..

Your story straight you should probably get,
For whoever leaked this video we have not yet met.
Russell did not narc out his friend Nick Young,
He mistakenly taped him to have some fun.
It is funny coming from you with the avatar you sport,
When you consider what he said in his police report.

    Until bYRON is fired
I promised to speak in verse
    Had no earthly idea
It could turn into this curse

    While creativity is high
    I can't standby
    And watch you crucify
    Or even vilify

    A young guy
    Or a wise-guy
    When their actions
Give our team a black eye

    First the outcry
    Then the reply
    Their attempt to imply
    I won't even dignify

    They're a small fry
    A simple passer by
    They'll never be
    On Laker Mount Sinai

    I see our leader calcify
Half the games in black tie
    Energy level bone dry
    Attempting aging defy

In the blink of an eye
We went from C bag battle cry
    With Champions to glorify
    Banners hung to signify

To passing of a man we deify
    Mismanagement that would horrify
    I don't want to oversimplify
    What the hell's this pigsty?

    All this does is solidify
    And disqualify
    Magnify and amplify
A coach we should immediately mummify

    Don't make moves to pacify
Say things for the public eye
A Laker seat I'll not occupy
If they think they can scrape by

    Don't you dare approach July
    And justify a coaching "retry"
That well has already run dry
Now make a move to unify

4/14. Another tough shooting night. Good news was the other parts of his game were pretty solid tonight. You see this often with rookies especially the guards. Consistency with the shot just isn't there. Just needs to keep working. It'll come.

When's it going to sink in to Russell that a guy with his passing ability should not be making multiple "lazy" passes a game, that either ignore the bad angle being attempted or are thrown lackadaisically with not enough care or juice on the ball .... and getting picked off. No excuse for these at this stage of his game. He had 2 of them nearly back to back in the first quarter for turnovers. I'm sure others are yelling at their TV like me on these.

It's not the recording that gets to me, but on how immature can he be,
This is not our guy after Kobe, or something we would like to see,
He's been given the key to the City, but what he does is always silly,
If he can't be serious like Bryant, he can never be a Laker giant,

Now, a low blow that Mamba comment, who was under pressure in that moment,
If and when one is being interrogated, you mention nonsense to be liberated,
This is different from a childish recording, conversations about absolutely nothing,
Obviously my rat quip is half-joking, but you can see parts where this boy is going.
