Unbelievable. A player breaks a rule and there's not even a fine?

David Stern isn't commissioner anymore. Silver has been good with rule changes and some other things, but he doesn't seem to like to punish anyone very much. But hey, the Rockets got a "warning", it's not as bad as a time-out or something medieval like that, but it is a warning! Oooooh..

my question is how is this the first time an opponent has recognized this as an issue? I mean, paul millsap has played a lot of nba games, and he said he'd never felt anything like that on the ball before. is it just that it normally doesn't get transferred to the ball that quickly?

has this been influencing Houston players' and opponents' games? I'm legitimately curious. maybe Patrick Beverly's really an ace shooter? maybe teams would be putting up 130 instead of 120 on Houston most nights?

Shows how irrelevant Howard has become. If this was Curry or Bron it'd be HUGE news. People look at it like, "it's not helping him so who cares?"

Howard barely has any fans left. Been browsing rockets forums here and there recently, and almost their entire fanbase hates him

I remember how happy they were on the day they signed him, and some Laker fans like myself going to their boards and telling them good luck with that, he's your problem now.

Yep ... I think the same ... The " I do this all the time" argument from Coward was just a false one .

    1) Others players would have felt it
    2) He would have been caught on cameras and exposed on internet ... Players can't get away with anything during games the way social medias are covering the league for a while

Wait .... what? RIP "Hands of Stone"

No offense Roberto .... here a blown up lightweight holding his own late in his career against Marvelous Marvin in his prime.

Maybe he's referring to his slam dunk win(s) when he said he was a champion. That was the good old days and pinnacle of his career, with the cape and schtick and literally stealing Shaq's original nickname. When he got to the top of the mountain with the real competition against the Lakers in the finals.... Pau Gasol exposed him and beat him for a "real" championship with his skills and not all Dwight's muscles could do anything about it. In his prime.

    Manos De Piedra...

On topic: somewhere ex-Raiders Fred Biletnikoff and Lester Hayes are smiling. Seriously, Howard probably can't grip the ball due to the sweat and small mitts he has but still... Doesn't excuse his piss-poor free throw % either.

Not gonna lie. I thought losing him was going to set us back for a while...But we landed Randle and Russell with the draft picks we wouldn't have seen had Howard been on the squad. Houston hasn't won jack s---. I bet Houston would trade Howard back to us for Randle and Russell. Heck, they'd probably do it for either one of them alone.

I think you're right, but lots of other things might have changed had howard stayed. FAs might have considered coming to a better team, for example. of course, if the team was going to give kobe that crazy extension in any case, then it would have been moot.
