I'm not sure the Lakers call them and specifically say "SAY GOOD THINGS ABOUT BYRON"

But I'm also sure that they put pressure on those guys to be as agreeable as possible to whatever situation they want. It wouldn't be hard to convey from Mitch/the Busses to everyone in the organization that Byron's on the hotseat and it might be a good idea to not blindly agree with him.

Well apparently Horry and Worthy both said Byron was being a liar. About f***ing time. If the former Lakers start criticizing him there is no way the clown will be back. He says he wants to win games. GUESS WHAT IDIOT? Playing the better players will help you win games. Playing D'Angelo less than 30 minutes at this stage is inexcusable. Get the f*** out of the way you piece of s***. Everyone knows this guy is hot garbage as a basketball coach. We have to suffer through his garbage offense and defensive scheme the least the moron can do is play our young guys.

His obsession with giving big minutes to Lou Williams is inexplicable. There is a reason Toronto didn't even try to re-sign him. He's horrible defensively, average playmaker, and yeah he can fill it up offensively but he's gonna be inefficient while doing it. He's gonna take a lot of bad shots. We really don't need that around the young guys. The guy has and always will be a selfish chucking ball hog. Get him out of here.

It's time to get with the times Lakers. With more of an emphasis on team play we need to get rid of anyone who doesn't wanna play within the team concept. Period. Either play unselfishly or get the f*** out. I'm tired of watching this trash. It's absolutely brutal to watch. Teams like Boston who aren't lodged by any stretch they're the #3 seed in the East while we're challenging the Sixers for futility are you kidding me? That's ridiculous. They have a great coach and players who buy in and if they don't then their a** is sitting on the bench or on the street.

There needs to be a culture change. I don't give a damn about the pick honestly. Give me a change in coach, management, and most importantly changing the way we construct our team and changing our style of basketball. That is what ultimately will attract the superstar free agents. Everyone has taken notice of what Golden State is doing. That's an all time great basketball team. They go out of their way to make each other better, help each other out, play unselfishly, play within their offensive system, hold each other accountable defensively, and have a coach who understands rotations, how to communicate with players, and how to get the most out of all of them and their skill sets.

Ummm .... used correctly I like Lou a lot. More so than Nick. Feel kind of like he was collateral damage in your larger BLAST at Boron. It's OK, understand where it's coming from. [IMG]

Yeah I like Lou. I think he can be very valuable if used correctly.

But no he shouldn't be starting and playing 36 minutes.

I like Lou but BS is using him all wrong. He should be the spark plug off the bench that is instant offense and plays around 25 mins. He is NOT a starting PG that plays 35 mins a game.

It's completely obvious to all of us here and to the rest of the NBA because that is how he's been best used in his career. Well obvious to everyone except contrarian A-hole Byron Scott. And still Tarik Black rots this season.

This is good news from what Wojo said about Byron and the Lakers.

Starts around the 7:32 min mark. Talks a little about Knicks open job and then comes back to talking Lakers job and potentially Luke.

"It would take a miracle for Bryon to save his job".

Boron is the worst coach in history
Why he's still around is a mystery
When he folds his arms there's no question
That Laker fans will have indegestion

"Why is he still around" because Lakers want to make sure they give themselves the best chance to keep the pick.

I don't hate Lou but I do think his value is overstated. I think his impact is low because despite his scoring he's a black hole out there and plays zero defense.

I don't care about the pick. I want boron gone. I want the culture of losing gone. I want the incompetence from our management and ownership gone. I want the young guys to play. I want them to know what winning feels like. Every day that boron still coaches is another day where we sink into becoming more and more of an embarrassment.

My friend put it best, "Him just existing makes me mad.".

EDIT: to make it sound less bad, he said this after my other friend said "I can be having the greatest day in my life, but then it all goes to s*** when I turn on the Laker game."

Thibs and Luke will be the favorites; Brooks is my dark horse.

I want the culture of losing gone as well, no question about it. Watching every game this year isn't any easier than last year, and the year before that. I'm just confident that changes will come, just not right now.

Very interesting that he talks about how the Lakers need to present a solid structure in the FO if they want to attract a coach.

It's basically everything we have been saying, but hearing it from Woj helps my state of mind.
