Good lord that is insane. Dude is like no player we've seen before at that size, he has a chance to be a monster, what a great gamble by Phil. As for the Spurs, they'll be fine, they lost one game to the best team in the league on a mission. They are never rattled or let losses like that mean anything going forward. I wouldn't be surprised if they won the next time they play GS.
That was actually a pretty entertaining end to the game. Terrible choice of double teaming off Draymond and leaving him wide open in the paint.
Curry is 10-13 from 3 pt range with 2 mins to go in the 3rd. Kobe's record of 3s in one game may be broken.
It's only a matter of time until Kobe's 12 threes is broken. I mean he did that in a time when threes weren't as emphasized. These days? I wouldn't be surprised if Curry AND Klay break that record.
Do you guys remember about the whole "sexist" issue when CP3 criticized the female ref by saying, "This might not be for her."? Personally, I never thought he was being sexist, but she got her payback lol:
He clapped in her face. I think that's what got the technical. Would he act that way towards a male referee?
Two thoughts. One, a joke that the punk a** thought he didn't foul the guy, and two, would love to see her clock him and give him something real to flop for. I bet she could.
Clips clippin. Announcers annoying as well, you can't call a foul? If it's a foul you call the foul no matter the time left on the clock.
Is that a quick tech? Sure. Is it a weak tech, especially in a close game? Sure, I'd be pissed if it happened to our team. Paul has a reputation though, so do the Clippers, and they get the most techs for a reason. Also, Paul claims he didn't say anything at all, that all he did was clap, but in the full replay from the side angle you can see he yells something in anger as he claps. If what he yelled was "f***!" or anything close to it, while clapping like that in the refs face who he already has a history with, then that's all it's going to take in that situation. If he wasn't such a little whiny punk, maybe he'd get more slack from the refs.
So we thought Bulls injuries was associated with Thibs over playing them but they are still broken this season, Butler just had to be carted off the court with a left knee sprain. Noah is out the season. Rose is on and off every other week. And Pau has been dealing with sore shoulder, sprained hand and sore Achilles the past couple weeks. And Mirotic is out until after the ASG at the least. If they can ever get healthy, they are one of the few teams that could challenge Cavs out east.
