Wasn't KD talking about "dodge ball" the other day? Sign whoever threw that to a max contract. FTF******Win.

Not the right thread, but still... It really seems like the Cavs don't like Kevin Love. He doesn't seem to fit their style and their vibe at all.

Cavs called in a meeting to tell the players about how they fired Blatt. When the players heard that there was going to be a meeting, they thought Love had been traded.

They were "surprised" that Blatt had been fired rather than Love being traded.

Also, when they lost to the Warriors, Love basically pointed at LeBron and blamed him.

LeBron did the same to him as I recall. It just seems like he doesn't fit with what they want. Love needs to be used properly to be effective and it seems like they really have no interest in making that happen.

I'd be surprised if he wasn't traded honestly.

yeah the relationship between love and the cavs can best be summed up as awkward

surprised GM lebron hasn't shipped him out yet. by the way, when are the cavs changing their name to the lebrons?

How can one player be such a douche... and still be worshiped by mindless ESPN-sheep. It has been going on for the entirety of his career.

My favorite part of this is that from anyone who isn't on ESPN's payroll, all blame now falls on Bron. I wonder if he considered that when he made this happen. There's no more fall guy. ESPN will blame Love, until he's moved and then probably Kyrie, but he's running out of people he can point the finger at and I love that.

Does he? He gets absolutely torched on defense each time he goes up against a top tier PG.

Anyways not sure what LeBron is so upset about. Reggie Jackson is one of the quickest point guards in the game. You can't expect Tristian Thompson to keep him in front of him. Delladova should've done a better job fighting through the screen and getting back to him.

^ sure he does. He's a good person from what i know. People like that shouldn't be near Gilbert or Bronnie.

Don't know why Lebron is so worked up. Lebron played lazy help defense. You can't expect a PF to stay in front of a guard.

Surprised LeBron is so mad at his boy Thompson there, I'd reports are true he was the one who wanted him kept no matter the cost. Players get beat and scored on though, it happens, big deal, they were still up 8 at the half. But yes, no matter the record I don't see a whole lot of love on that Cleveland team. Guess it doesn't really matter though since they will be there in June regardless because the East sucks eggs.

Not sure about that. Chicago would've likely beat them if Pau doesn't get hurt. Butler has continued to improve his game each year. Rose has looked a lot better recently. Toronto is improved as well with the addition of Carroll and DeRozan is healthy. The Raps probably aren't ready yet, but the Bulls can definitely beat them.

Nobody in the East is beating the Cavs in a 7 game series if LeBron is healthy (and one of Love or Irving are). It's all nice to say this team is improved and that team is improved, but when it comes down to it the Raptors have no stars to get by LeBron, Rose WILL be hurt and the Bulls won't get it done, and whoever they play in the first round will get swept, they might as well not even have a first round Cavs series. The only thing that will stop the Cavs making the Finals is if LeBron finally runs out of gas from so many trips in a row to them, or gets injured. It's the same thing every year, there's a nice up and coming team with a good story everyone is rooting for, like Atlanta last season, but when the bright lights and pressure are on they fold and the team with the stars (LeBron with Heat or Cavs teammates) makes it through. This year will be no different, I'd put money on it.

I don't see why the Bulls can't beat them. They nearly beat them last year even with LeBron. LeBron isn't the same player he was when he won championships in Miami. If you assume Rose is gonna get hurt again then you have to assume Love and Kyrie will get hurt again because they're just as injury prone. Jimmy Butler would be the second best player in that series. Pau is still one of the top big men in the game and the Cavs have no answer for them. I'm just not sure why everyone assumes the Finals will be an easy road for the Cavs when they wouldn't have even made it last year if not for Gasol's injury. If they can't get Love involved consistently then they're gonna have to sit him anyway because he can't defend.
