    Now that I know that's his Twitter, I post all kinds of crap and copy him. I'm ok letting him know fans think he's doing a terrible job.

    Absolutely great responses to her bashing Byron. Brightened my morning a bit.

    @sirronstuff

    Byron Scott is chasing some very dubious history this season, and is about to catch it. At 446-620 (.418) on his career, he is currently 87 games under .500 as an NBA coach. Believe it or not, the only coach in NBA history to have a worse record after 1,000 games coaching and be more games below .500 is Kevin Loughery, who is 94 games below .500 and has a winning percentage (.417) that is just slightly below Byron's.

    Please join me in cheering Byron on in his quest to become the objectively worst coach in NBA history. Current Target = 15 more losses than wins.

    Robot mode activated, only programmed for limited responses. You are the coach d******, it's your job to prepare them, coach them, have them prepared and ready to go.

    Blame the players. That will do it. Brilliant. j******.

    Isn't it your job to coach them Byron? How about installing an offensive system and preaching defense like you were supposed too? All these mistakes happen because you don't communicate with your players like a good coach does. Are players blameless? Of course not, but they're lost because of a lack of direction and that starts with you. These young kids look lost because they don't know if they're gonna get pulled after a bad play. Let them play through those rookie mistakes. That's how they'll get better.

    I watch other teams like Boston and the Knicks with at best equal or even less talent and they are incredibly competive. Why? Those teams have coaches who have implemented a system that the players buy in? How do you do that? Playing to your players strengths. Utilizing their respective skill sets. How about instead of constantly calling out the young players you have them discussions internally with them about what they're doing wrong and how to fix it.

    How about stop playing favorites? How are you gonna call D'Angelo and Julius out for making a certain mistake and then not call out Kobe and the rest do the vets for the same mistake. That's ridiculous. How can you pull the young guys when they're playing well and stick with such a s***ty lineup that has got us in a big hole each game. It's the same stupid rotations that don't work. Bass and Kelly I mean really? Guys like Kelly should only play spot minutes. Why not Tarik Black? He played very well last year. He plays with excellent energy and activity which is what you want from a backup center.

    Put D'Angelo back in the starting lineup f***ing moron. D'Angelo is at worst the second best player on this team. There is no reason he shouldn't be starting. The ball moves when he is in there. Offense actually looks somewhat like an actual offense. He isn't a ball stopper. Rarely takes bad shots. Makes extra passes and has excellent vision. Julius is noticeably more engaged as a starter. He doesn't pout as much or just sit around the perimeter. He's aggressive. Isn't as much of a black hole and is energetic. We ain't winning anyone with you just do us a favor you've subjected enough of torture don't you think? Play the young kids. They're the future. We don't deserve this. Neither do they.

    If you don't know these things after nearly 50 games (plus last season), it's on you, buddy.

    Exactly. How this could be acceptable to anyone is beyond me. He has had more than enough time to figure things out. He still doesn't know his team or how to motivate them. There is just no reason for us to keep him another year.

    I wonder what Byron actually does? Has he done any coaching this season? What did he do in pre-season? It's almost like he doesn't know this team at all. We're 50 games into the year. We're nearly 2/3 done with the season. You don't know who wants to play?

    Maybe they just don't want to play for you. Maybe you're so bad at coaching, they've given up.

    How does one apply for the Lakers' head coaching job? I'm interested in collecting 4 million dollars a year to fly around the country, eat at great restaurants, meet famous athletes, and wear nice suits. Sounds like a dream.

    WMC: I don't get to watch many games down here in the Great North Wet so I am excited to see the Lakers on National TV. Sat down to watch the game last night and made it through the first half. I could watch the Mike D Lakers cause at least they had offensive effort (no D ever but still we put up points). I could watch Mike B's Lakers even though there wasn't much of a team game. Byron's Lakers are nearly unwatchable. I saw Nick Young out there and even though I wanted him gone after last season he at the very least brought energy and life to the game when he was in (last year). Last night I literally thought Nick looked defeated. He had no real life in him. Even when he made the corner 3 and did his "look at me I'm bad" posturing I didn't think it was really heart felt. Listening to Reggie Miller try to explain why Scott is hard on Russell drove the point even further. The kid makes mistakes and its the coaches job to mold them into lessons. If he still plays, as Reggie says, a little disinterested isn't it the coach to blame? Our one on one game, which isn't even Kobe ISO's like Mike Brown era, is so bad I am not sure some drunk fan in the 300 sections aren't calling the plays.

    Byron wants to point the finger at players not being prepared, not wanting to play and not having grit but truth is he is the one missing all those things. He isn't prepared. Our team is outcoached at every level and facet of the game. He doesn't have the guys ready or willing to play for him at all. I am sure they have pretty much checked out on him. And I don't he really understands what grit is because standing around with your arms crossed scowling and calling people out doesn't mean you have grit it just means your a d***. Jerry Sloan had grit as a coach. Byron Scott can't even order grits in a southern restaurant if that is all the place served. Get rid of this dude at the end of the season or once we have a top 3 pick secured. Rant over.

    Can I be your Assistant Head Coach? I'll only ask for 1 million a season, and I'll eat at Applebees and Red Lobster instead of the great restaurants.
