I do think Nance's best position if he wants to have an impact in this league would be SF. But if he wants to do that he has to vastly improve his 3 pt shooting, and ball handling. You need some guard skills at the SF spot and Nance has very little of that.

Love the activity and hustle he plays with. Sure Randle should be starting, but Nance plays a big role for us by bringing that lively spirit to our team while out on the court. Those hustle and defensive plays add up. Case in point we turned the ball over in the 1st half and Bucks ran down the player and Nance fouled Parker instead of giving up the layup/dunk. No other Lakers player was near the Bucks basket on the fast break except for Nance. Parker made 1/2 fts and some might say its only 1 point, but to me its more than just a point he saved. It's the relentless hustle and winning plays he makes at times that can be the difference when its all said and done. That stuff and hustle plays is contagious

    Keep it up Larry!

He's hit the corner 3 a few times this year I believe, so that shot can come with development.

As for guard skills, I don't think they're necessarily that important based on that type of role he would have. He's more of an intangibles, high effort type of player who doesn't necessarily need the ball in his hands to be effective. Offensively, he'll be more of a cutting to the basket and finishing, getting second chances with his effort on the offensive glass, and when he develops it, spacing the floor.

Plus, we've got a PF who's got guard skills to go along with Clarkson and Russell. I think we're okay there.

Nance has taken two threes this year, both from the corner. He hit one of them (per bkref).

I like Nance's explosion off the floor. He's been a steal.

Some nice dunks tonight, and we get so few of those on this team. That one he threw down right on the defender with the crazy outstretched arm was nasty.

Awesome in-game dunker. Don't let him in the dunk contest though. I can't take another Shannon Brown fiasco.

He's becoming my favorite Laker; something about this kid I love rooting for...maybe it's the hard-work, the energy, the acumen on the court he displays playing like a veteran instead of a rookie...I have no idea, but I love his game. I wasn't expecting this when we drafted him, and I'm super glad to be wrong.

Well he's certainly easy to root for. Goes out there and does his job, no complaining, plays hard, very well spoken and funny dude, I like him too.
