    Just like I said about that article. You call this progress? Byron only played the kids at the end of that one game because Kobe said so, and then Russell only got to start and play good minutes because Clarkson got hurt. Randle is still getting 20 minutes a game. Now Russell will too because . . . .

    The FO better get that talk with Byron going ASAP. I'm sick of this garbage.

    The only thing that has gotten better is Kobe taking less shots and as a result is making a good percentage again. But that's all Kobe. The other part of the equation, and the bigger part is that Byron's horrific coaching and rotation decisions are handicapping this team every game. We have only the slimmest chances of winning any games with the job that Byron is doing. I don't know if he's doing it to tank or if he's actually trying to win - either way we are headed for the lowest number of wins in franchise history and if he's not fired this summer heads have to roll.

    Byron... how exactly do you think this does for the kid's confidence? He played his butt off in the games he started. He showed you he's capable of being a floor general and yet you still opt to bench him in favor of a perennial 6th man of the year who has no business being a starting PG?

    Really? REALLY???

    I can't believe Byron was ordered to tank this season. If Simmons is the only target really worth tanking over and pursuing, the chances of getting him our just too slim. If the season ended now with us 2nd to last, we'd have a 19.9% chance @ the first pick. Far too slim to chase after Simmons with a 1-3 protected pick. There's also a higher chance that we don't even get the 1-3 pick even if finish 2nd and lose it entirely (.319 for fourth and .123 for fifth).

    No, I think Byron is calling upon his boy scout roots and teaching the guys to be prepared for anything. Be prepared to be benched when it is obviously the wrong move. Be prepared to have your minutes reduced when the obvious thing is to increase them. Be prepared to play out of position guarding guys that are far bigger and stronger than you. Be prepared to get benched just when you are performing like a star. Be prepared to get subbed out when your unit is about to close out a game. Be prepared to get no answers from coach as to why any of this is happening.
