In a different system he's more accustomed too, he's probably putting up ROY numbers right now...

Well, isn't Jim Buss Lando? If the Lakers are the Death Star (second Death Star, that is), Jimbo is blowing it up from within, no?

Agreed. The nearly complete about face would be very strange unless Byron got a talking to.

    Btw for those keeping score...

    Russell
    12ppg
    5 rpg
    3 apg
    1 spg
    2 tpg
    41% fg
    77% ft

    Mudiay
    11ppg
    6 apg
    3 rpg
    1 spg
    4 tpg
    31% fg
    68% ft

Clearly, we have the better player and all those Mudiay jockers can suck it.

If Russell is in Denver, he's putting up better numbers and is more efficient.

I was wondering that too. I remember they were loud at the start of the season but I haven't seen any lately. Maybe I've been too focused on our woes to notice a lot of other rookies out there though, mostly all I hear about is Porzingis, Towns, and Okafor.

Mudiay is shooting like .5 percent better than Kobe. LOL.

And most of the Okafor chatter is about his off the floor stuff. Honestly, Zinger is the only person I'm hearing a ton about and some of that may be because he's in the #1 media market. I think Russell will end up being a better player than Okafor. Not sure he ends up being better than Towns, in fact, I doubt it. Towns is going to be a beast.

But if we come out of these last two drafts with Rod Strickland 2.0 and Larry Johnson 2.0, we should be ecstatic.

Yeah there's still tons of Mudiay jockers who are talking a bunch of smack. It's great to see his numbers steadily going down. Of course he wasn't the #2 pick but still, people were heralding him as the best PG in the draft....and dissing Russell. Just glad he came back down to earth. Whoever had him in fantasy basketball should have sold him high at the beginning of the season.

Honestly, I Googled Mudiay and almost everything that came up was how bad he is. One article was about how he's the league's worst PG.

Whoever had him in fantasy basketball shouldn't be playing fantasy basketball if they were dumb enough to draft a rookie pg with zero outside shot.

Difficult to place stock on a player who honed his game overseas in China as opposed to top tier competition Stateside.

The only player in the draft that has exceeded expectations is Porzingis.

Towns is definitely proving that he's number 1. Russell is surely making our decision look better and better each game. Okafor has been a mess off the court, and not so "NBA Ready" as everyone thought he would be.

Porzingis is really showcasing a lot of skills and talent. Definitely another outlier that will break the Euro bust mold.

Haven't heard much from Hezonja. He showed some flashes in Summer League, but nothing after that.

WCS seems to be filling his role next to DMC nicely.

Mudiay has been underwhelming despite his hype.

    Stanley Johnson looks solid, thick.

And the rest I'll just leave to interpretation.

Yeah I mean I was fairly high on Mudiay because I thought he'd be more NBA ready. He's REALLY hit a wall and has begun spiraling down in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. I wasn't expecting that. I thought he'd be better. I wanted him over Russell at the start of the draft because I thought he'd come in bigger, stronger, and more effective but he never improved his shot making and he hasn't developed taking care of the ball either. I was wrong on that kid.

Everyone else has been almost exactly what I expected. Okafor is putting up solid numbers on an awful team. I whole heartedly believe if he was in a better city with a better team/structure he'd be having a better season. There's no one over there to teach him. Philly mistreats their players so incredibly much.

Ya'll are right that Porzingis is the only one playing over his value and he's been slowing down a bit lately.

I also wonder where the guys that loved Kaminsky went! That guy has done nothing in the league and has looked super average when he's out there. There were people saying he was a Top 5 pick! I don't remember who but I remember having that argument.

Porzingis physique/constitution scares me. I highly doubt he'd have Dirk-like long career. 8 years, before he breaks donw, is my guess.

Then again - you can be built like Stanley Johnson and have someone fall into your knee, god forbid...
