Dlo's potential is sky high. Most of us saw this. It's his first season in a system that does not suit his strengths yet he still produces. Experience, development, the right system and he'll show everyone what he's capable of.

Russell is the future if this franchise. No doubt in my mind . I remember so vividly watching this kid named Russell, so highly routes going into the Indiana game; it was my first time watching him.

I remember he made a in and out dribble in a fastbreak in transition and finished with a left handed layup. I said out loud, 'he needs to be a Laker,' but I thought we wouldn't keep our pick then when we did, I thought we were drafting Okafor. When I heard Russell's name, I was ecstatic. Never doubted him or his game. Always knew he was special.

Get used to these kind of nights, fellas. Only with a little time and experience, we will be winning most of these games. He's a star in the making. Will be fun watching him grow.

What a game from Russell. Can't help but get the feeling that Kobe passed the torch to Russell tonight. Russell just has that "it" quality you look for in a star player, even when he was struggling you could see it. You saw it with Kobe and his rookie mistakes, and the he'd remind you why he was taken so high. You saw it with KD, the struggles with the Sonics and the inability to shoot nothing but 3's his first year. And I believe we are seeing it now with Russell, ya he's missed some shots and his numbers aren't what we'd want, but tonight he showed us why you pick him at #2 and build around him. He's going to be a star.

Yeah I got that same feeling. I just love the fact that D'Angelo wasn't backing down and shying a way from the moment like a lot of young guys do. He wanted to take every shot. Make or miss he wanted the ball in his hands. That's what the great ones want. The true great ones. Whether he makes or misses that's what you wanna see from the kid. Julius had that same look as well which makes it all more fun to watch. It's a shame Clarkson got nicked up because he wasn't backing down from anyone either. They're starting to really learn how to play together and they will only get better and better and better.

    The future is here !

Would have love to see him go 1 on 1 for the GW .

A screen does more bad than good for the offensive team imo in these situations , plus we didn't have good floor spacing with Hibbert and Randle on the floor

Not sure. The current starting 5 is keeping us in games early. DAR and Julius aren't assertive from the opening tip and are a handful for opponents when they come in. It's working for now.

Obviously the best game we have seen from D'Lo this season. I really liked what I saw from him, and he should continue doing what he is doing. I'm sure it was a HUGE confidence booster to him and Randle knowing that Kobe wanted them to finish the game.
