He's not far from doubling that this year.

After these two season it's practically impossible for me to tell where horrible coaching ends and possible intentional tanking begins. Is Byron trying to win or trying to lose? I just can't tell. The things he does make it hard to believe he's trying to win. But can any coach be this horrible without intention?

He HAS to go this summer. We can't put up with more of this horror show.

Clarkson, our best player who happens to be playing better than anyone on the court in that Atlanta game, is pulled for the entire 4th quarter after he gets us back in the game. No one is THAT stupid...I don't think...so at this point it's no longer a stealth tank. It's an overt tank.

I could live with one last tank season if we had a lock on the pick, but we don't. At this point I think the better path with Kobe retiring and two max slots sitting there is to play for FAs. We need to audition for guys like Durant to demonstrate we are not a trash team. That means the #1 priority is to develop the 3 young guns and make sure they are on the court every 4th quarter.

Of course, all of the above assumes we are not living in Lakers Bizarro world where down is up and bad is good and Byron actually knows what he is doing.

I'd like to think B0ron isn't tanking and he's just that stupid, but then he throws a lineup with Huertas, Kelly, and Sacre out there and I don't know what to believe anymore.

I have a giant fear that the tank is on, the FO has told Byron to tank, and as a result, Byron is safe for next season.

What's the situation with next year's pick? Do we have a pick? What kind of pick?

Next year is top 3 protected as well and is unprotected in 2018. But if we lose the pick this year, I am not sure what happens to the pick next year.

Byron is a former coach of the year, so he obviously has had a LOT of bad luck and had terrible teams. So unfair to him that's he's in the bottom 3 of all time coaches with games under .500.

    :Kareemlook:

    Right? Guys?

Welp, it's official: Byron is trying to get fired. Unless someone can think of a more plausible explanation for starting Nance and Lou over Russell and Randle...
