So I saw that the Kang disagreed with Durant about how Kobe has been treated by the media. I guess he's trying to suck up so they won't turn on him too. #histimeiscoming
All this guy does is shoot layup after layup, thanks to his incredible size. Not impressive or entertaining at all. Just saw the play-by-play section of the CLE-NOP game, all you see is James layup, after layup, after layup. Missed almost all his jumpshots.
How much more help does the "Best player in the world" on a reloaded finals team need against a lower level team like the Pelicans ESPN?
I don't think they're wrong. LeBron has had to carry the load early. He obviously had to carry them in the Finals last year with Love and Irving out. He's gonna be 31 years old this month. Played a lot of basketball. He's not gonna have any gas left in the tank if they don't get more from Love and Kyrie can't make it back.
Lebron should allow Blatt to coach more . That being said you can't have Dellavedova on the floor for offensive possessions over Mo Williams down the stretch 42 mins for Wackdelly 22 mins for Mo This roster is not weak at full strength but it is made a lot of one dimensional players. You have to be crazy to pay that much for this team . PS : Richard Jefferson
Iso ball doesn't work for an extended period of time during a game and down the stretch ... I wish many NBA teams would understand this . Lebron-Love PNR instead of Love standing in the corner ... No need to be an offensive genius to understand it would work better than almost 17 mins of Lebron iso
Writing the narrative for if the Cavs win it all this year, "Look at how he carried his team to victory!".
I've said this multiple times, but it's obvious LeBron doesn't make his teammates better. He dominates the ball handling duties, minimizing and marginalizing one of the best point guards in the league, and forcing two of the best players in the league into roles that fit his play.
Yep, its a win-win for bron. If he loses, he didn't have any help. If he wins, look how he carried his team! Goat, omg, best ever, kobe who?
I mean I refuse to click on the link, but I think you guys would be surprised at how little Kevin Love has meant for that team. There's no doubt in my mind they regret moving Wiggins for him. Love's numbers are solid, but he has shown now irrefutably that he cannot carry a team. Outside of Love, they don't have a ton of great talent that create shots for themselves. Mo is the only other one and can you really count on Mo Williams to carry you? Probably not. The reality is they didn't go out and spend a ton of money on great players. They spent a ton of money on players that LeBron wanted. LeBron is not a great GM. Now they're stuck with a massively overpaid roster and not enough actual talent.
I hear what you are saying BUT (love the but lol)..... Cavs went out and put a team complementary to Lebrons skills as a ball handler and passer. They have guys who are suppose to spread the floor and move without the ball because bron, as it has been drilled into our souls, makes the right plays and makes the game easy for his teammates. You are right he was also playing GM and getting guys that would fit with him. I think that is even more of a thing because he signed off on them because he has this great BBall mind and the coach isn't needed with him taking over the huddles and choosing when to sub in and out. No, for me this is his bed and if they fail it is squarely on his shoulders.
I'm not disagreeing with that at all. I'm not saying this isn't his fault. I'm saying that the media report might not be wrong. He probably DOES need more help if he wants to win anything. His bed is not good enough and I think everyone is figuring that out now.
Ah yes, the beginning of the downfall of the King. Lebron is 30, lets replace him with a 30 year old Kobe, what will his results be. That would be 7 years ago, so 2008 Kobe.
Man you guys are falling for the narrative? Same one every season, and LeBron has been to what, 5 Finals in a row? The East sucks, I don't care if Indiana suddenly appears better, or more teams are at .500 or better than usual, they still suck. When the playoffs come around as long as LeBron, and one of Love and Irving are healthy, they will be in the finals again. Atlanta isn't beating them, neither is Washington or Indiana, just like every year some team rises up to look legit and then LeBron's team rolls over them. If All of the Cav's big 3 are healthy I fear they still win the title, unless somehow 6 Finals in a row is too much and LeBron's body craps out. The Warriors look great now, but all it takes is one key injury there too at the wrong time and they're out. Nothing is guaranteed this early in the season except the east sucking in the end and LeBron being in another Finals. I can't even imagine what Kobe would have done in the East with these opponents and the teams LeBron has had. Wouldn't be 2-3 in the last 5 years though.
