He's been doing quietly well this season. It became commonplace to rag on him all summer and most everyone wanted him gone, but he's been a tremendous role player for us. Just about everything is improved for him this year. He's taking better/smarter shots and making them more efficiently. He's playing really solid defense out there not just man-to-man but rotating as well. He deserved to finish the game for sure.

10.2 points on 43.4% from the field (45.8% from deep) and he's doing it in less than 20 minutes played.

I love this version of Nick. I hope we keep him and I hope he keeps this up.

DNP probably for his comments (which were all warranted) last night.

Byron: DNP Nick until he starts playing within the team....

Nick has done everything within the team this year, talks about playing within the team....

Byron: DNP Nick until he stops talking about playing like a team

It's obviously personal and probably from the start. He just doesn't like him.

Nick has been great (for him) this season, I agree. No reason he should be benched.

Byron needs a scapegoat and Nick, by speaking up, was it.

Nick has been great this season. A little bone headed last season but this season he has played within himself and what the team needs of him. I'm glad he spoke up and I hope he continues to do so.

    Absolutely.

But when Nick Young is your voice of reason things are at their absolute worst. :D

But Kobe when he's in the mood 4 out of 5 games can chuck like no other in Lakers history and Boron is down with it.

I've been a critic of him but Young does not deserve how he has been treated. He has the talent even with that whimsical personality.

There is no reason for him not to play. He's been one of our most consistent players, and he makes like 5 mil, play him. If you don't want to play him, trade him then. I don't get how benching Nick is an experiment, but Bass stays right where he is. B0ron is a d***, this is not an experiment, it happened immediately following the "circus" comment.

This was a vindictive move no matter what Byron says. What a little b***h.
