I got you. It's a tough call and there's certainly risk involved.

But getting Luke is the kind of splash you need to make as a Head Coach and honestly right now is the perfect time. Don't you feel the dramatic build to it?

Former Laker gets his first chance at Head Coaching back in LA. He gets his chance to build a team identity here while our young guys grow. He's got Kobe's respect who has all the kids' respect so when Kobe comes around he can have Luke's back. We absolutely need a new vision and what better vision than the guy who took over the champs and got them running at 100% efficiency?

    The poetry man!

I agree. That would be really great. Luke wasn't half of the player Byron was, which does not matter one bit. He's born to be a coach.

Not to mention our team is being crafted in a Warriors mold. A shifty point guard with a natural stoke. An explosive shooting guard. A point power forward. Steal Barnes away to pair with Walton...If you switched out Luke for Byron and Barnes for Kobe from the beginning of THIS season (so Randle and Russell are rookies and Clarkson is a 2nd year) I honestly think we'd have 8 wins at this point just with those two changes.

Always a risk with an up and coming but at least Luke isn't bungling everything up. Keeping it simple and going with what works. It would be great to see Luke develop as a coach along with our young players. Hopefully all of us very patient Laker fans would give him time to develop and learn before roasting him for his firsts few mistakes....lol

With a decent to good coach I think we would be close to those eight wins.

Sometimes I wish Popovich was our coach. Seems like a cool, funny dude who is obviously very good at what he does. Glad he decided to take over the reigns for Team USA at least.

Doesn't he spend an entire day at his camp shredding all the analytics reports from the previous season?

Our best defender (Hibbert) and best overall player (JC) don't play in the 4th (again). Try to figure that one out.

How does JC only get eight shots?

How does JC not play in the fourth quarter?

We needed Roy's rim protection where was he?

Why is Kobe playing big minutes again?

This guy is just unbelievably incompatent.

    Why wass Bass in period?

Why was Larry Nance also in, playing next to Bass?

Why was the offense Kobe stand on the right wing and lose 10 seconds then scramble?
