LMAO, JC is pretty funny. To paraphrase: Ireland: You guys blew yesterday's game in the second half, what changed today? JC: Man I been saying the same thing over and over after each loss. We did the opposite of all that stuff.
His play and his poise is far beyond that of a second year player. He might not be as good as Randle and Russ when they get better but JC is solid and might be the backbone to this team in the future.
His consecutive short jumpers in the 4th felt kind of like watching young Kobe against Utah. Kids sometimes tighten up even though Clarkson has been largely competent at the end of games.
One thing he can improve on? Drawing fouls. Not talking about drawing CONTACT, as he's good at that, and good at finishing through it too. I'm talking about getting the call. He is so composed that the refs don't seem to think he gets hit at all.
I mentioned the foul thing because, I think it was Beal, basically cross body blocked him as he was going to the rim. He made the shot through the contact, but it definitely should have been and 1. Kid gets no respect from the refs on his drives.
That is absolutely awful. Randle doing everything he can to forget where he is, and Clarkson is honestly just weeping. Why haven't we made a change?
