really like hibbert. I've found myself saying after several games that his and Clarkson's efforts were the only ones without obvious fault. I think the best thing about him is his sensible mentality; it's missing in most nba players, imo. he understands and plays within his limitations (and to the extent of them). seems like a positive force in the locker room, too. worth his salary.

We have enough money to extend Roy, sign Durant, and even sign another max player I believe. There are very few teams that will have as much money to spend as us this next off-season

For a guy who is in his first year on the team, Roy is acting like he's been a Laker forever. I really am glad there is a guy on the team being the mother hen and looking after our rooks.

So can we expect less Roy tonight too? Gotta match up with the Warriors small ball after all, Bass at the 5 really helps us get out there and run and punish teams offensively. Makes up for any defensive deficiencies.

Stop with this nonsense Boron. We need Roy to re-sign, you won't be here anyways. Let the guy play ffs.

I'd want to resign Roy now mostly because he might actually sign the offer, rather than at the end of the season where a whole year of losing under an incompetent coach might make him think twice.

Well, since we will wait on our offer to Durant

Hibbert has to wait for two weeks to a month then we give Jordan Hill ten million after Roy regains his sanity and sign with OKC joining Durant there. It's all about preserving our capsspace

First bigs that mess up we are looking at Bass / Kelly again and still no Tarik Black. Mind bottlingly.

I have a theory. Tarik actually did not accidentally run over Boron's GF's yipping Pomeranian puppy..... but rather by accident was caught on Staples security cams outside the Lakers locker room glimpsing in amazement at Boron's prized "halogens".

Roy is really frustrating. Dude cannot finish around the rim or rebound the ball with any degree of consistency. Defensively he's a liability in screen and roll coverage. Teams are really attacking him there and he's too slow to recover. You do like the fact that he can stretch the floor a little bit and hit free throws as well as protect the rim, but I would love if the Lakers could get a more athletic, better rebounding presence.

My only complaint about Roy is that he's slow. On PnRs he needs to roll harder and faster so Russ can find him. He goes so slow and it leaves Russ in no man's land and he ends up shooting the mid range jumper.

That was funny. He's like the main guy trying to be a leader out there and keep this team together, that was another little example for me. Also that flagrant he got sucked, NBA is so soft. He was clearly tired of the layups and dunks and wanted to send a message, but the NBA doesn't allow that anymore, they want the layups and dunks.

I like Hibbert. I want him back, but he's not the ideal 'starting' center I would like going forward.
