Best thing for someone like Lance is to play with a lot of energy, passion, crash the board, hustle, and hit an open shot or two if he gets it. He did just that.

He needs to be in the rotation. His energy level along with him not needing/wanting the ball is huge for this team.

If he's knocking down that jumper he's a very valuable player. He brings energy and athleticism in a way no one else on our roster can. Honestly if he's making that jumper he makes Bass irrelevant.

If Lance continues to progress I wonder if we'll try to trade Bass whenever he's eligible to be traded. Probably to a playoff contender. Maybe get a second round pick out of him. Think he could still help a team, but right now we're in full rebuild mode.

He played really well yesterday and was a good match out there with MWP and Black. RandleROFY's been advocating playing him and it paid off last night. Hoping to see him get more burn because Bass has been extremely underwhelming and that reported bench argument he got into with Hibbert was a bit of a red flag. Hibbert's been nothing but a consummate glue guy and team leader and if Bass has beef with him and is a negative locker room guy he needs to ride the pine or get out of here. Especially since that mid-range jumper of his appears to have left the building. I've always liked Bass and was happy he came here, but he needs to get his act together and a bit of competition out there is a good thing.

I liked Bass before he came here, but this makes sense in some ways. In just one game, Larry has looked more in sync with this team than Bass ever has. The caveat is that Bass has played almost exclusively at the 5, which he hasn't before. I'd like to see Bass play at the 4 more before I completely give up on him here.

But until then, YOU'RE KILLING ME LARRY (in a good way).

Yes, Bass would just be a fairly good insurance policy against injury.

I liked Nance in college and I like him even more now. Just hope the first time he has an off game he doesn't get sent back to the end of the bench.

I kept double taking the screen, looking at Nance thinking it was Blake Griffin, similar builds, size, but what caught my eye was unmatched energy...similar to Griffin. His defensive rotations were spot on, Black , Metta and he were outstanding on D, and his shot looked sweet. He along with Black and Metta need to come in with Williams and Young as the new bench mob.Sorry Bass, Huertas, Kelly...

glad to see him on the floor; he does things no one else on the roster does--specifically, he gets up on the defensive boards. he can also switch the 1/4 pick and roll and contain the ballhandler to some degree. need to keep finding minutes for him.

Larry Nance should study The Worm and The Matrix and pattern his game after them.

If teams go small, I'd like to try Randle/Nance out there at the 4 and 5. Give it some run...
