    Byron, DAR and the media reported earlier in the season that he was WORKING TOO HARD and needed to scale it back a bit. (Around the time he hurt his foot) And then again at the start of the season when he was doing too much before games.

    D'Angelo and Byron just don't mesh. It's been clear to me for the last two weeks or so; I wouldnt be surprised to see Russell benched in the near future.

    Ordered a Russell jersey and it comes in today for what it's worth. Definitely gonna wear it next month when I go see the Lakers get destroyed by the Spurs.

    DAR may be a Byron Scott pick and we may have passed on Okafor because of that. He's only been known to work with PG's, and he wouldn't know what to do with Jah either.

    I've accepted DAR already, but yes, I'm still salty about it.

    That's entirely inaccurate. Ryan West, Jim Buss, and Mitch all reached a consensus about selecting Russell before the draft, and that's the direction they went with because they though Russell was the best available player. Kristaps was next on our board and then Okafor; Okafor 'loafed' through his two workouts with the Lakers and didn't leave a lasting impression. Pincus all confirmed this already on LG, and I'm paraphrasing what he said...

    Exactly. We've read a number of reports of Russell showing up early and staying late after practice and working out with Clarkson and watching film with Kobe and so on. Someone is not telling the truth here.
