Obviously not going to make a splash this season.. but this team can compete and develop new players. Neither of those things are happening, he needs to go. My patience with him is 0%, he doesn't do the right things his attitude sucks and he doesn't even say the right things.. he's completely lost and has no idea what he's doing.

How the hell are we even in this predicament. From Mike Brown to Mike D'Antoni... and now this.

To think we are winning is straight comedy.

Ireland and other 'media' members are currently defending Scott with the line 'well, we are young and not that talented.' Byron has shown a propensity for this type of coaching that has led to his termination elsewhere in past coaching stints. Fans aren't clueless. Apparently, we're being fed this 'spin' by Ireland, and I'm already sick of it. I guess we have to wait until the wheels fall off until we get a clue as an organization.

Last year, we tanked to get he number 2 pick; this year, I hope we tank to get rid of Scott. We have no direction. There's no execution on the floor. Players looks lost. Byron keeps spouting the same thing over and over, and he hasn't evolved at all as a coach. This is just so very frustrating. I seen the upside with Clarkson/Randle/Russell, and I see the potential with this team to move in an upward trajectory and the coach is holding them back. I can't wait until this lame duck coach is out of here.

I'd agree. Although, with Byron LJ, I think there was a Jeanie involved in this decision more than we think for various reasons. Jim wanted Mike Brown; Jim also hired D'Antoni. Just a disaster of a coaching carousel. You know what's sad? Instead of taking a real leap of faith and going with a guy like 'Quin Snyder' who was available at the time, who was young and innovative, a guy who Kobe knew, we decided to take the 'name' in Byron and because of his roots to our past championship teams. What a freaking joke!

Was listening to ESPN710 earlier today, forgot who was on that said it but he played for Byron. He said that Byron will think that everything he does and says is right and will stick with it no matter what.

It doesn't help that his ways are so archaic in this current age of NBA.

Sigh.. I never thought that going into the 5th game the Lakers would have a perfect record @ 0-4

Not resigning Phil, when they had the chance, was the biggest mistake this organization has ever made..

Don't worry. You'll see a lot of him when Jim steps down and Jeannie replaces Jim with Phil

I think the Knicks are going to be much better than last year. Will probably make the playoffs. PJ and Fish could be entrenched there.

Probably what it would take to get Phil to finally, actually marry her. Negative connotation to Phil, not Jeanie here. Him immediately dating the Dr Buss' daughter put the handwriting on the wall for Jerry West according to reports. As well as being told to get the f*** out of his locker room at half time. West should never have had to leave.

In summary, threatening players instead of coaching them, desperation has set in for him, contradiction of, "I have to be patient" to "I'm not going to be patient for long", no blame for Kobe but more crapping on the young guys and passive aggressive line to end it.

    Thanks coach.
