Take it and use it well. The word must be spread from the mountains to the valleys. The people must know.

Magic will tell him what adjustments to make. Too bad they can't be in-game adjustments, or from someone that knows how to coach, but that's they way we roll right now.

    Wow.. The offense looked terrible..
    No movement whatsoever..

IMO. Byron need to focus on keeping Randle & Clarkson involved in the offense.
They're the key. If those two are engaged, it opens the flow up for everyone else.

The thing with Randle, he is a ball dominant player as well. Most of the time when he gets the ball, the ball ball movement stops with him. He's been getting away with it because he has enough strength to bulldoze his way in the lane.

Thinking about it, we have 3 ball dominant guys in the first unit:
    -Kobe
    -Randle
    -Clarkson
Granted Clarkson can pass out of the shot, but we all saw the countless iso's by those guys, Clarkson to the lesser extent. With Byron's offensive sets, or lack there of, the ball isn't moved, and therefore, the flow is completely dead. Byron doesn't make the proper adjustments, and just stands on the sides with his arms folded.

I'd really like to see Kobe choose to be more of a facilitator and choose his spots to attack versus be in attack mode all the time. The young guns will need him to bail them out often enough already.

He could score 20 points a game this year not have to work very hard and shoot 50% for the first time in his career if he would let the other guys do the heavy lifting

He does know we're not in tank mode this season, right?

Or was he really not tanking last year? Did he fool us all by giving us his best?

He is still experimenting which is pretty concerning.

Taking the small victory that he is gonna play Russell at the point for now.

I'm so mad at this guy right now, it's not even funny. It's only been 1 game, and my frustration level with this team is at an EPIC level :Headpoint:

Well this is the same guy who played Kelly as a backup 3 last season so it's not surprising.

This guy gave the likes of Wesley Johnson and Jordan Hill the green light and didn't even give Clarkson a real opportunity until the second half. Hell he was starting Ronnie freaking Price over him.

Yeah I noticed that too. I like Randle, but he looked like pre Memphis Zach Randolph. Ball goes in and doesn't come back out. If you get doubled or can't get good position and get off s quality look get the ball back out and re-establish.

I think our organization isn't aware of the importance of the next couple of seasons for our young prospects ...

They have to be developed and teached the right way and things in order to become the best players possible .

Teach little things or bad habits to rookies ... and they never will exploit their full potential or much later .

Byron has a very astute coaching acumen. It's actually just the young and inexperienced players that are behind on picking things up.

Most rosters are set on opening day and rotations, but no one among this inexperienced group has stepped up. There is no way to blame Byron for any of that.
