Wow, now I've got to look for a box score. Did I read that right?!

Edit: 18 pts and 19 rebounds, got it. At first I thought you were saying he shot 18/19 and I was

AD needs to be in the paint instead of the perimeter

He also needs a PG to find him on the roll.

I think years of frustration are ahead for Davis regardless of this game and the current injuries...

Gordon will be a FA this upcoming summer , Evans and Holiday the one after so Pelicans FO better re-shape the roster around Davis with better players than these 3 .. but I doubt they will come through ...

I'm still like that from 18/19 that's a hell of a stat line. The guy is a beast down low.

I think there's going to be an adjustment period. They lost two starters, both huge assets to the team on the floor and in the locker room. Adding splitter and going with a more conventional lineup will help them and Horford in the long run, but it's going to take some time.

feel bad for anthony davis. he's going to get the blame for something he can't control. nobody is good enough to drag the group he had out there to the playoffs. maybe they'll get some guys back, but that roster still isn't fantastic. and make no mistake: davis IS fantastic.

When Porkins is your starting center you know things are tough.

when your best offensive option was going to perkins in the post, you know it's time to start stockpiling canned goods.

Porkers looked decent randomly in the post, but yeah. That's emblematic of some serious roster issues. Maybe NO isn't the team to take the next step like so many assumed.

Okafor and Mudiay both had impressive first games, will Russell and Towns do the same?

Good game between SAS and OKC ...

Monster performances by Leonard and Westbrook ...

SAS is posting up more , a little less ball movement ... The loss of Belinelli is going to be huge for its second unit .

As for OKC , the starting SG spot still hasn't been figured out ...

    A davis 2 3pm,boogie 4 3pm made.
They added the range,it looks that lots of bigs are developing their 3pt shot, and we can include ibaka and bosh on that list too.
I dont like big mans that shoot to many 3pt ala lafrentz but it cant hurt if you got it in your arsenal.
I hope that randle will ad 3pt shot eventualy so he doesnt have to relay to much on his bully ball.

I very much enjoy watching Leonard play. His persona fits that Spur team to a tee. Highly efficient but non-descript. Lines up...kicks someone's a**, goes home and repeats it again.

Clippers are bunch of punks... If they get their heads handed to them, I would be happy as hell.
