Guys, we win too many games, and he's out of a job. Lose too many, and he's out of a job. He'll keep us right at 33 wins or so.

Byron is awful. I don't care if we have to hire another coach. I don't want this atrocity of a head coach anymore. The clueless rotations, throwing your #1 pick under the bus, the offensive sets or lack there of, just the overall game plan. This is about as bad as it gets.

Yeah, I tried to get behind this hire. I really have. But there is only so much I can take. The rotations, poor offense and defense, clock management, etc. It's just too much.

He is terrible. He didn't do anything while the twolves were making their run. He wasn't even going to do anything for the last possession and was just going to hope for the best.

Edit: He got outcoached by Sam freakin' Mitchell! A guy who was not even supposed to be the head coach.

Apparently in Russell's post game interview when asked about the communication from the coach and the staff about playing with Kobe and Clarkson he said and I quote "Umm... honestly, I don't know. It's just something you just gotta develop with game experience. There's nothing really coach said about that. You just got to develop it with experience.".

My god this is getting ugly real fast. How in God's name does the head coach not communicate with his #1 draft pick and starting point guard?

It's sad when Luke Walton is a better coach than this clown.

Byron was foolish for leaving in that 2nd unit that long in the 3rd. He makes no adjustments at all, and his offense honestly consists of picks, thats it. There isn't any flow to anything, and he throws his players under the bus.

I calmed down a little and then I made the mistake of watching his post game interview..... Really? Throwing your players under the bus? Get out of here!

Why ? Luke was a high IQ player and has been in a B-ball environment since he came to this world ...

I could see Luke as our future head coach. If Kerr is out an extended period of time and Luke does well with the Warriors, Luke would make sense. Young guy, smart, not a retread, Laker ties...seems like a good fit season after next when Byron is gone.

I don't even need to read through the last 6 pages or whatever it is that you guys have blown up :D

No defending Byron after this one. Bad coaching. I don't even mean with rotations or play design TONIGHT.

The 1st team had absolutely zero chemistry out there. Russell looked lost/forgotten, they went to Kobe way too often in isolations, and while there was body movement there was little ball movement. That first 6 minutes or so was really tough to watch. You know why they were so out of sync? No Kobe for the last few pre-season games and no set rotation through the pre-season. There's EIGHT games to get ready and figure out your rotations. Why are we still unsure who finishes games? Why are we still wondering who is in the starting lineup and what their roles are? I know we're bringing D'Angelo along slowly, but he's got to have a better role in the offense or he's not useful.

Byron needs to go this summer. This team is already where I thought they'd be in a year or two. I think a good coach gets this team to 35-40 wins. Next season assuming we bring in a youngster for the SF spot, I think we're looking at a team (with a really good coach) knocking at the door of 42-45 wins maybe even more. After this season Randle/Clarkson will be ready to take this team to the next level. I firmly believe that. Byron gets this year to prove me and everyone else wrong, but a smarter coach needs to have control here.
