"Flexible" people should go as low as they can... that's what i think ;)
In a few years i'll be happy if i can do an inch more than parallel.

I'll just say: there's no structural benefit and you don't fire any more muscles by going that low. I used to do that when I was younger and really it's just stressful on your knees and hips to try to compensate for that weight that far down to the ground. BUT if you feel comfortable doing it and it's working for you, then screw my opinion!

That's it, I don't wanna keep taking this thread off track.:Dloading:

I saw him doing some front squats which I liked. I don't think they do a lot of lifting during the season, but next summer he needs to spend probably 6 days a week in the gym.

He would definitely benefit from chiseling up that physique a bit, adding some power.

It'll happen next summer I'm sure. He already looks a little bigger than he did when we drafted him. He's just 19 years old. It's going to take some time.

Russell and Clarkson can be lifting bros over summer.

Clarkson is such a boss. I see a bit of the Kobe mentality in him. Maybe more than a bit. I can't think of any Laker we've had who improved so much from draft to season 1 and again from season 1 to season 2.

I agree with this statement. The arms is where I see it most. But like Clarkson it will be in the off-season once he understands how much more physical the NBA game is

Really looking forward to this young trio of Russell, Clarkson, and Randle kicking it off tonight. Talking to other fans around the NBA, its funny how they really do not know who Clarkson is or slight him. They will find out soon.

wonder if Russell and towns have been watching all the dudes drafted after them show well tonight. I've been league pass binging, and okafor, porzingis, and mudiay have all looked really good, imo--particularly for rookie debuts.

I don't like that he was benched for the entire 4th quarter. Pretty unimpressive debut though.

I thought he was all right tonight. I was glad he started, but didn't like that he was in so long with the second unit in the third quarter. Huertas should have had more minutes when we were losing our lead then.

He's got absolutely nothing to do out there. What is his role? Initiate the offense? Clarkson is doing that. Shoot? Kobe is doing that. What is he supposed to do? He's got a way to go, but he's also being wasted.

Hard to compare Russell with Okafor, Mudiay, etc. They have the green light on their teams. Russell doesn't get the ball enough to be effective.

I feel bad for Russell.....I don't like how we're using him...not using him correctly at all and you can see he doesn't look completely comfortable.
