not forcing things; he looks like a vet out there. it's good to see both him and kobe letting the game come to them. each could easily go a different way, and I think that would be bad for the team.

Clarkson is easily my favorite Laker right now...

poised, young, under control, hard worker and a good dude.

Of course Kobe is and always will be my favorite Laker. But at this point the Laker I enjoy watching most is Clarkson. Kobe is over the hill at this point and I'll still get excited when he makes a turnaround shot...

but for the past 2 years he has shot below 38% and been generally atrociously inefficient. Still he is untouchable.

To be fair to Kobe, it wasn't until his body started diving after Byron was overworking him that his efficiency plummeted. He was actually pretty efficient early in the year if I remember right. The year before? He shouldn't have been playing when he cracked his knee. It was obvious he wasn't ready yet.

Anyone else waiting for the "bubble" to burst with officials giving Clarkson's off arm such liberties while he's dribbling?

OK Jordan I'll bump you. Another good game. That's your problem..... they're so consistent that people are taking you for granted already......

His offense was so smooth tonight! He's just so calm out there even under duress and makes hard shots look fairly easy. Love this kid.

he has improved so much its crazy. but i'll be the bad guy and say that his passing tonight was a little off and had too many turnovers. otherwise, he looked really good scoring.

There was sloppiness in the first quarter but he got it together in the 3rd quarter.

He isn't a PG, so he struggles with overdribbling at times, but when allowed to score, he's so smooth. LT is right, he's so consistent that we're getting used to it, because he's out there making it look easy. I also agree he had a shaky first, but he kept us in the game almost by himself for a stretch in the 3rd. All that said, even not being a true PG, he's still proving to be a vocal leader out there and run the team/direct traffic when he has the ball.

Just came in here to say that the Lakers have lost every preseason game when Jordan Clarkson shoots more than 10 times. Of course that means that Jordan Clarkson Shots To Much.

I thought his defense on Lillard was eye opening for everyone. Lillard is an All-Star guard and beat Clarkson to the hole easily and consistently. Now we can say "yeah but no one can guard Lillard" and that's true but Damien didn't even make the All-Star team if there wasn't an injury that let him in. Jordan is going to see guys like this consistently all year. It was a good test and showed he's got a lot of growing to do.

The best way to combat that in today's NBA is to attack offensively and Jordan of course did that.

He's showing progress every game and that's the most important thing.

In Byron's postgame he said "it came out and went back in" about Jordan's shoulder. Either Vitti or JC told him that, I wasn't paying close enough attention. If it's a shoulder dislocation they're describing, that's no bueno. MRI tomorrow. Here we go again.
