Wow ... man and that after those comments he's looking forward to free agency in 2017?

How long does that take to heal?

BREAKING: Derrick Rose Fractured Face in Training Camp, Requires Surgery
Posted By: bullsadminPosted date: September 29, 2015In: NewsNo Comments
Terrible news out of Chicago Bulls training camp: Derrick Rose just broke his face.

The exact report is a left orbital fracture, which is a similar injury to the one that required Russell Westbrook to wear a mask last season. Rajon Rando also suffered an orbital fracture last season.

The team says that the timetable for Rose’s return will be determined after the surgery on Wednesday.

    Dude is a walking injury...

He may be ready by the start of the season, but this would be a good time to NOT take his time recovering if he can play in a mask.

Not playing when he was previously cleared, or playing when others would have with the same injury won't go over well. He's going to have to prove he's capable of his next big contract.

He's definitely not a max player anymore. You might want to structure a heavy incentive laden contract if he plays a certain amount of games. You might also want to include a Team Option.

I thought this was going to be about his stupid comments about free agency, wow. He makes dumb comments about free agency, before showing he can still stay on the court for a full season, and he gets injured immediately. It's a shame, it really is. The league is lacking stars and LeBron has no competition in the east, and the only guys or teams that can possibly stand in his way keep getting injured.

It's time to pay players based on the number of games they play ...

These guys are jokes ( Rose , Irving) ... I read Shumpert was injured again

Something's wrong with this duded. No one at the NBA level gets injured as often and as badly as Rose. I keep forgetting this guy is even in the league.

And how do you get an orbital fracture on the first day of practice, practicing with your own teammates who presumably weren't even trying to go hard at you.

I thought this was about his rape case when I saw the title instead of it being about his annual injury.

I like Rose a lot, but damn he simply can't stay healthy even if it's not that serious of an injury this time around.

What is he out for... like 4 weeks? And then has to wear a mask?

Dude is made of glass. You can appreciate his skills all day and he seems like a good dude (rape allegations not included). But you can't depend on this guy. How can you have serious title aspirations with him leading your team, knowing he'll be hurt the next time he looks at a basketball court?
