Kobe Bryant 2.0?... Man I hope so. If this is true, it's a despicable act. I won't pass judgement though until all the facts come out.
Just check his medical records. I'm sure he snapped an ACL, twisted an ankle, or pulled a hammy during the alleged rape. If he didn't go on IR after that date, he's innocent.
Jimmy Butler: Keep working on your PG skills! Joking aside, DRose comes across as a quiet humble guy, so it's hard to believe this is true. If it's not, I'm sure this type of public exposure is horrifying. If it is, I hope he pays the proper price whatever that is deemed to be.

I definitely won't jump to conclusions. When you are a young athlete multi-millionaire you are going to attract some women that will take advantage of you anyway they can. Doesn't mean he isn't guilty either but why wait 2 years to file charges? Ashamed and embarrassed? Ok but why are you no longer ashamed and embarrassed? Why are you ashamed and embarrassed if you did nothing wrong in the first place? I'm not making light of rape because not reporting does happen a lot but what changed? Did the girl in the Kobe case wait to report? No. Was she any less embarrassed? She wasn't drugged nor gang raped which looks pretty awful.
That's the problem with them. It's the manner in which TMZ conducts itself that makes them scum. In terms of factual reporting, they're pretty solid for today's media.
Seems out of character for someone as respected and well-liked as Rose. The same person who broke down talking about kids shooting kids for shoes. Then again, who really knows how these athletes really are? Take the case of one Darren Sharper. Like others said, I hope it's all false.
This is a tough one. I understand how women don't report these things for a long time sometimes because of fear and embarrassment, so that isn't an issue for me. My issue is seeing Rose as such a devious criminal. If this can be proved that's different, but as of now it's a huge leap for me to picture Rose going this far. It's not that I don't think people with Rose's fame and money don't do these sort of things, because we have seen they can, it just seems such an escalation of criminal behavior. It's one thing to say he was at your house, drugged you, and raped you, which is horrible enough. But breaking into your house, with 2 friends, drugging and gang-raping, that is some seriously sick stuff. I have a hard time believing it right off, but I guess we will have to see, I certainly hope it's not true.
I agree. This just seems so out of left field. And who are the other two dudes? If any one of them can remember where they were that night, the whole case falls apart. And why is she is only seeking damages? Two years ago is within the statute of limitations, so why isn't she pursuing this criminally as well? This absolutely reeks of jaded ex looking to get a payout because Rose dumped her. If Rose did it, he deserves life in prison, but if he didn't do it...she deserves to go to jail for a very, VERY long time. Maybe this isn't smart, so someone more strategic in legal stuff correct me. If I was in his position, and I didn't do it, the first thing I would do is counter sue and file for a defamation of character suit. If he's innocent, why wouldn't he attack her?
I doubt he raped someone who he had a sexual relationship for 2 years... its also outlandish to do it with his friends. I highly doubt she is right. She wants cash and/or retaliation for being dropped.
