Actually, it didn't happen. You're whipping boy Tinkerbell was not a disgruntled superstar. Vando and Beasley were expiring contracts, the exact opposite of "terrible contracts."

As an unwise fraud once told me, "You really need to work on your reading comprehension." Now go away, Snail.

Yet you can't find your way off my jock son. I'm a bit flattered. Anywho...

Tinkerbell was disgruntled..the Minnesota GM specifically said that team needed more maturity at PG. I hear he didn't like Gobert, not a smart idea to beef with a guy, that your team gave up a bunch of FRP for. Vando and Beasley were salary filler to add to Tinkerbell's 30M contract. H-Town hustle was a good pickup tho.

Gad zooks, now I remember why I hate this time of the year. So boring that we end up with 58 straight pages of slick defending himself. Just remember folks, if you don't attack his positions, he won't need to defend them!!

yeah clearly Russ was ADs guy Rob is the pattern he always does. His first press conference we will be aggressive to win championships. He always wanted to get AD and Lebron what they wanted like he’s doing with Luka. That’s the agent in him.

AD loved Rondo won a championship with him. Russ was supposed to be that guy. I remember thinking imagine Russ with a guy skilled like AD. LeBron wanted the more Russell scoring guard type. They couldn’t get Kyrie so they got Russell. I think they could’ve got Kyrie after Brooklyn. But Brooklyn if I remember refused to trade him to us. And sent him to Dallas. Remember nobody wanted Kyrie at first. So there’s levels to it.

Lebron and Westbrook just couldn’t mesh. Westbrook and Durant sure.

When you look at those teams, it's shocking we did as well as we did and really not a surprise we were play in bound. I remember hoping Darren Collison unretired - talk about some dark years.

I liked the bubble team which was lightning in a bottle with the team meshing so well, the year after I thought was an excellent build.

I was probably the biggest Westbrook apologist on this forum, I thought Lebron would play off ball like he did with Luka, but he wasn't interested. And Russ was just a bad fit here and when the fanbase turned on him, I think it probably broke something in him that never fully recovered. Most of the guys we surrounded those 3 with were out of the league soon after.

It was good we moved on from Westbrook, but disappointing we never maximised the AD & Lebron pairing. Anyway, water under the bridge now.

Back to your regularly scheduled Kuminga action: I hear the trade might be done this weekend?

    Sounds like it's heating up

Rob needs to figure it out

Seems like waiting was the right thing to do to give K the time to appreciate what we have to offer

Hopefully he comes in with a good attitude and willing to do what we need him to

Hopefully it’s true, but I think that account is a fake.

I think Kuminga is still holding out for 20m+ in a sign and trade. I believe someone gets him for the minimum to be honest, so he can bank on himself getting a bigger contract the following year.

Thanks for the embed. Need to PM you and get the trick. The twitter instead of x rarely works and choosing “Embed” from the 3 dots options doesn’t seem to either.

The ESPN LeBron James last dance they’re doing is going to be trash. Nothing comes close to that last dance. The Bulls were rockstars. And Jordan was a rockstar. It starts off beating the Lakers at the forum to start the 90’s and be the team of the 90’s. The Lakers were the team of the 80’s. It ends with the bulls beating the Jazz at the end of the 90’s nothing rivals that.

The only thing that would be just as good and compelling to rival that is a last dance. Kobe and Shaqs Lakers. How the team was built if you go 1996 to 2004. If they have the interviews. Cause that was the next dynasty with Phil. And we were the team of the 2000’s. Birth of a dynasty was good. But I’m talking compelling T.V. the Kobe Shaq stuff. The samaki Walker stuff just like last dance the intracicies of the team.

and the alley oop the comeback against Portland to me which started the whole dynasty game 7 I was there row 9 the speech with Phil. To the game 5 against Detroit and the trade with Shaq. That to me is a good watch that can be 10 episodes of a series.

the Lebron stuff is not that interesting to me. The Cleveland this is for you Cavs beating the Warriors was compelling. Coming back from that but the Miami Heat stuff was just boring. It was boring basketball. They can sale it. But in terms of basketball it wasn’t that entertaining. just as I never thought the Warriors were that entertaining.
