Offer him the vet minimum and live with the outcome lol

I have to admit I won’t miss the drama surrounding him or his team

So......................if he goes to the C Bags....................we 1000% riot, right? That actually seems like a d*** move in my opinion. But that is just me.

This is corny as hell. I get that Bron still has a lot left and may turn one of these teams into a contender, but it’s not 2010, he’s 42, nobody is sitting back watching this on the edge of their seat.

such an own goal by lebron that:

    reaves
    doncic
    kessler
    grimes

isn't among the scrawlings. you 100% sure you're going to be more impactful and happier in your role in all those other places?

it's not about winning, it's about where he'll have the most fun enjoying his farewell tour and filming the last season documentary

that's why he's willing to take less money on other teams, but not the lakers. being overshadowed by luka isn't how he wants to go out

yeah, but every one of those teams has one (or more) players who are quite obviously better than him at this point, so he's getting overshadowed in that regard no matter what. he's not going to get what he got in the houston series with any of them.

he and rich are just mad that rob got over on them, and their final power play is cutting off their nose to spite their face, imo.

and, yes, as others have pointed out, he just wanted one more bidding war and realized that it was going to have to be at a low salary and that eliminating us from the pool was going to win a ton of fan/media sympathy.

still think if he's playing for the vet min anyway, he should have just stayed here. doesn't have to move, winning prospects probably the same or better than any of the finalists. he just had to make some sort of point.

i hope it blows up on him, tbh.

I’m really glad it’s not us being held hostage by him anymore. Sucks to lose a player that great, but man I won’t miss this stuff

What if the real reason he’s leaving is because the Lakers said any camera crew following a player would have to be their crew, and they’d have rights to all of the content?

and now part of his choice is getting a new team willing to deal with his circus

Is it though? It’s a huge distraction. And if you don’t gain from it financially, but are expected to give carte blanche access, would you?

Yeah OK, but still a highly unlikely main reason.

he wouldn't be overshadowed in GS or cleveland

curry's still the guy in GS, but lebron would take all the attention away from him just for joining his former rival. the sight of lebron in a warriors jersey would be the main focus on its own. and in cleveland, he'd have the spotlight on him too because he'd be coming back to the team everyone associates him with
