    It’s crazy because right now the analytics would favor SGA but all of us who have watched both know it’s not the reality

    If analytics were the be all end all, we'd have all the answers and be able to build unique combinations of teams from scraps. They're useful, but they're not the only truth.

    Kobe, who isn't favoured by them, is a great example. In different time periods, he would still be dominant and his advanced stats would probably look amazing.

    yeah, i think kobe would have developed a devastating stepback, for example. he was criticized for taking less difficult shots than that, tbh.

    I always thought most of his jumpers already were difficult because when needed for the space, even out beyond the circle, he would put serious fallback lean into them. Like Jordan of course.
