I didn't want to post this on the official game thread as to not derail the purpose of that thread but figured that this would be a fun discussion to be had about all the terrible calls or no-calls being made by the refs as well as dirty calls and flopping. This will not be exclusive to only OKC. Being Lakers fans, we might overlook plays that are done on the Lakers end as well so if the Lakers are also involved in it, feel free to post it as well. I just particularly thought game 2 was so egregiously bad and expect the refs to continue this behavior down the series. Note: If this is against the rules or not something that is allowed, feel free to remove this. Chet flopping pretending he got hit in the face. Ayton scores a basket that is waived off. Shai tosses his body into Kennard creating the contact. Ref waits to see if the ball goes in the basket or not before whistling for a foul giving Shai two FT's and artificially inflating his FG%.
LeBron called for an offensive foul on the flopper Caruso despite Caruso already backtracking backwards and wasn't in a legitimate guarding position. Fell down as soon as LeBron got into position. Despicable flop that the refs allowed time and time to happen. \]
it got a little funny on every shai replay when they would point out the "chicken wing". some might know it by it's other name...the offensive foul.
shai is great and all - the 3 was huge for them - kudoes - but man I'm hoping this lakers series and last years finals take this MJ and Kobe stat comparison to bed. He's get to play 1v1 as the Thunder have too many good players to really help or tilt your defense. Despite in teh playoffs his numbers on good teams consistently drop even with the offensive foul garbage that somehow only isn't an offensive foul when he commits it
