This dude was one of the best players in the 2026 playoffs so far. Kudos. He'll be back. We can't find a better 4, no way.

I can't stand that attitude either. I remember one game day chat and I asked why do y'all hate him so much. Not a single rational response.

He made us relevant after years of sucking. We won a ring in one of the most difficult seasons in history.

At any rate if he retires, comes back for another season or chooses to play elsewhere, I'm thankful for his time here.

Who has been mostly clutch during his tenure? Who was mostly clutch before he got here? Kobe?

I’m no LeBron fan, but a blind man could see how well he adapted to playing with Luka and AR after a rough start.
I’m not sure if he’ll take the haircut we need, but if Luka is healthy come next year’s playoffs, it will be his best chance for another Ring.

After years of stat chasing, it was refreshing to see LeBron turn back to playing team ball the second half of the season and how good he was through the playoffs. Team friendly price, it would be worth having him back. I can certainly understand those that are ready to move on. It has nothing to do with hate, just memories of a few seasons where winning wasn't the priority for him. Others are willing to overlook those seasons or pretend they didn't happen. I like the LeBron/ Bronny dynamic so as a family man I can give him a pass easy enough. Better option comes along, I'm good with that too.

Something to consider if he leaves is that we will need to have culture setters in the roster which hasn't been required since he arrived.
Luka is a playful character and doesn't seem the type of leader that brings seriousness and professionalism during the course of the season. AR doesn't look like the vocal type. Smart will help there if he stays but we need 1 or 2 more, imo.

All seems to indicate Bron will continue, but it was something I remember we will need to have in mind whenever he eventually leaves

I was concerned about trying to replace LeBron even before the postseason. Just don't see how we can. I think they will figure something out and he gets a real retirement run.

This man averaged 23/7/7 against two of the best defensive teams in the league by a wide margin (excluding Spurs).

He showed up to play. 41 years old and played 38 minutes per game... Outplayed Shai and despite knowing he had no chance without Luka, still battled every possession.

He deserves to do whatever he wants. If he wants to get paid, go ahead and get paid. If he wants to take a discount and play with the Warriors to team up with Steph and Draymond, he deserves that.

I do hope the Lakers re-sign him. Around the $20 million mark. He's worth that and every penny.

People say Reaves game suffers when Luka isn't there because Luka frees up Reaves game. I think that's the case with LeBron as well at this point of LeBron's career.. We all saw how many lobs and transition points LeBron had that didn't exist in the playoffs because Bron had to run the offense. If Luka was healthy, Bron would have been an efficient 20/8/8 player in these playoffs with very good defense.

You can't replace him with another player worth $20 million. Zero chance.

I think he's going to stay. I think Luka will try and convince him, the front office will *wink wink* Lakers ownership deal of some sort, and he seems to be at the point of his career where outside of the Warriors, Cleveland, and Knicks, which team out there can offer him anything he would want? I'm not even sure how those three teams would even be able to sign LeBron other than a vet minimum.

They need to do this. Pay for all of LeBron’s therapies and health related stuff. He says he spends 2m a year. Pay for all of his household food and staff, let him and the family use any cars. Get him a private jet. Whatever we need to do ti be creative. Since we can’t pay him more, take away all his expenses.

I agree and I think he's going to come back here next year. I just don't see any incentive for him to go some place else. Where? To hang with the old folks in GS? Nah. Cleveland? He did that already. I think he plays it out as a Laker for at least one more season. He does NOT look done.
