He’s just been unstoppable these 2 games. 41 years 23 years in the league and he’s the best player on the court in the series. Unreal.

He may not be as good as he once was, but he’s as good once as he always was.

Playing like a top 10 player still - year 23…

James is playing in control within the game. Efficient. He really was just getting in the groove and in game shape during the season for times like these.

he doesn't have the athleticism and hops he had before, but he continues to find ways to be effective. i wouldn't doubt he could be playing at 50 and still be an effective player in this league

we'll never see anything like this again in any of the major pro sports

Actually logically explained by Rocket Fan and Cookie in DOOM.

41 y/o LeBron is still more athletic than anyone not named Amen on our squad.

    "It is amazing."

Crazy thought that might be true: at this exact moment in time, is LeBron the 2nd best player in the entire playoffs?

    Luka out, Wemby out.
Shai, don't make me laugh. He went 5-18 from the field and 0-4 from 3 in Game 1 but they gave him 17 FTA's. Give them the same whistle, and LeBron is better. Give LeBron Shai's whistle, and he averages 50.
Lakers 1 of only 3 teams up 2-0, and the only underdog to do so. Boston, Detroit, New York, Denver, Minnesota, etc all 1-1.

    Seriously, could this be true?

Entire teams have less than 7 post-ups in 2 games?

    NBA 2026: What's a post-up?

There's fewer for sure but most of the 'post ups' today are designed to get a shooter open and for wide open cuts to the basket so it's just done differently.

Wasn't a huge fan of LeBron posting up. His legs were tired but he kept spamming the fadeaway and none of it was going in.

I felt Kennard should've had more opportunities to handle the ball to get LeBron some rest but thankfully it worked out.

Post up is easily the better option for Lebron. If he has to create from the perimeter he’ll be even more tired than from the elbow.
