It's so painful to watch these Finals and see AC doing it all. Every single time he enters the game, he has an impact. It's a steal, a deflection, a bump that makes the other team fumble the ball, a 3, a drive to the basket and a foul. It's unbelievable, every single time
I’ve been seeing lately, from multiple people, not just Irwin, that we didn’t let Caruso go because of money, we let him go because we didn’t think he was that good. Lol what a dope shirt This was talked ad nauseum. THT looked like an all-star in the making when everyone was crazy about wings with large wingspans. OG and Mikal types, he had that frame and looked offensively even better. Signing Caruso would cost 40mil in taxes and Jeannie didn't want to pay it. That's it. We made a bet, because ownership told us too, and we missed largely. It won't happen with this ownership. I'm interested in THT as a vet min this offseason btw. Good reclamation project

i've never defended the front office for one second for letting caruso go. one of the dumbest things i've ever witnessed, and that's not hindsight. most of us said it on that day.
No s***. But totally on Jeanie for cheaping out on the extra 23-25M penalty tax. We’d just won a ring with LeBron, AD and Klutch plus AC of course. and Frank at the time was raving about THT as a rookie, another Klutch player. That wasn’t on Pelinka. Just me but getting tired of being tortured about it with all the great clips and words about it. I hate it too but water under the bridge now. And Jeanie will never do that again …. new sheriff in town.
eh, i give rob some of the blame. it's jeanie's fault a choice had to be made, but it was rob who chose klutch (THT/nunn) over caruso. just really terrible. all that said--anyone think he might be the guy okc moves off of this summer? they need to shed money, and everyone's guessing it will be hartenstein or dort, but with cason wallace due for a giant raise in the near future and mitchell and mccain on the roster, i'm wondering if it makes the most sense to renegotiate hartenstein's deal (sign him long term at lower money), pick up dort's option, and move caruso into space. if that's the case...would you take him? i'm actually iffy, just because of his age at this point. but he would definitely be the ideal starting pg next to reaves and luka.
