I would agree. However by moving him for the right pieces you could create a fix for the problem .

Getting rid of LeBron and his 54 million dollar contract will do that and we can keep Reaves.

How many significant players are they going to get with that cap space? One? How many significant players could they get by trading AR? Probably 2 IMO.This team needs multiple players to fix this mess

If we flame out in the playoffs (which we will), we need to take a serious look at the organisation top to bottom. The only safe person is Luka.

I don’t know what you consider significant players but you can definitely get a couple of impactful players with 50 plus million.

We don't have 50m in cap space if Lebron leaves. I've made posts about it before - it's roughly 40m in cap space.

Watson,Kessler or Eason are significant and they are only going to get one of those guys with 40-45 mil in cap space and that’s only if their current team doesn’t match.Obviously not an ideal situation

Like @Cookie said, AR is not the problem.

Luka and AR are our strength. The role player are our problem. We need defense, athletism, and perimeter shooting. Trading away AR will introduce more problems --- scoring, secondary ball-handling, and playmaking.

We have $40M in cap space, draft capital and limited players that may be useful to other teams. That should be enough to address most of our problems this summer.

If it were up to me, I'd replace our entire front office before trading AR. Their poor decision-making (Caruso, Goodwin, etc), drafting (JHS and Knecht), and inability to sign good role players, is inexcusable.
