I'm sure Lebron didn't tell Rob to draft him but I'm also sure the FO office was like it's a late second rounder Bronny probably better then most and it would be a feel good story and way to get around the salary cap to pay Lebron more lol

This is getting old I never use ignore but if the mods don't think this trolling then I guess that what it.comes down to.

I get it there is sizable portion of the lakers fan base that doesn't like Lebron but there are lot of people who do and I don't see how this stuff is contributing to the forum

 

i could believe a world in which lebron did not specifically say "draft my son", which is what it sounds like she's claiming. it's kind of a lame/disingenuous claim, though, as it's clear we did it to appease him. his contract cut basically being his son's salary is also definitely not a coincidence, even if it wasn't specifically requested.

and to say we believed in his talent at 55 isn't a stretch, nor that others did.

i'm just not sure it's worth her arguing about. what's the larger point you're trying to prove by making this smaller claim? that lebron doesn't influence FO decisions? that's just false.

i'd also believe that lebron/rich paul didn't specifically ask for a new deal with a player option this summer. they just expected it to be offered and got mad when it wasn't.

Well...if we have a repeat of last season's playoffs series. Where Luka avg 4.6 pts 1.4 rebs and .6 assists in the 4th quarter. While shooting 30% from the field and 14% from 3.
