These guys were all on one team at one point, and they didn't win. 3 of the top 15 all time scorers, and they aren't done yet.
i'm strictly anti-warriors because we're kind of in direct competition with them in several ways, but that jimmy butler injury sucks. it might actually bail them out a bit in the end, i guess, but the two sides seemed to be making it work for the end of his career, and now that's probably done.
The chances of him coming back anywhere near the level he was playing at when he's 36/37 with a major injury......just not great. They will have to pull off a miracle to be competing seriously in Curry's final seasons. But dang, we have lots of aging vets that are still throwing up major numbers. Harden, Durant, Westbrook, Jimmy, Curry, Bron..... One year they will all be suddenly gone. I'm finding myself limited in time these days and rarely even know the competition on half the teams we play. I'm aging out and getting into "get off my lawn" territory I guess.
they're all putting up numbers on play-in teams or worse, with the exception of durant, who just keeps getting traded to teams that are ready to compete. the last teams standing the past couple of years were led by young players, almost exclusively. boston had some old role players (that were important), but them, that dallas team, okc, and indy were all young. it's part of why any deadline deal or FA signing for me better be guys in their mid 20s at latest.
