He wants to play in the NBA with his son in about 20 years. Gotta start young.

Nothing on the Lebron v. Brooks drama last night? LOl. Made for some excitement for sure. Brooks is such a jerk. Great to see him get tossed and get in foul trouble all night. Looking at him size-wise against Lebron I don't think he actually really wants that smoke in a fight. Lebron is bigger, stronger, and I suspect a better fighter too.

Yeah. But James was silly getting all worked up late, after what he’d been dishing out too …. over that little ball tap toward him. It wasn't THIS:

Brooks is exactly the type of player Lakers need. People will hate him but he makes winning plays more often than not.

Definitely not last night. Well, he kind of did but then got the T because he’s a knucklehead.

i'll see this and raise you a...[ox]no[/ox]

he makes a spectacle of himself while mostly not helping you win. you can find an agitator in the g-league for 10% of his salary.

my dad and i were laughing a bit about smart and brooks just...being them...in the game last night, but at least smart's teams are generally better with him on the floor:

Don’t look now but the old man is starting to get back into condition. That drive after the fake going left and finishing with the floating reverse layup was a thing of beauty and quick enough to start seeing more of them. 9:30 left in 2nd or 3rd. But yikes that knee collision sure bent his left knee outward. Hope no lingering damage.

THe 3 point shot which was so good still hasn't come back after that groin injury last year.

He needs to be able to hit the wing 3 when Luka swings the ball to him - Lakers become basically unguardable if hits that

Lebron did a good job running the team while Luka sit, he didn't pound the ball like he has been prone to do in the past. With Luka and Austin doing the heavy lifting on that side, Lebron will be fresher when he does have to take that on from time to time.

I guess this means another 20 years of Lebron as he will now attempt to play with his grandson.

Talent usually skips a generation, so grandson will be the next chosen one

I like to see Lebron come off the bench. It will allow Austin Reaves to get into a rhythm earlier in the game, so we can get the real Reaves back. I like to see some more youth and defense in the starting line up. It can limit LeGramps minutes. He can still come off the bench and get a good amount of shots off to get his stats even though he plays no defense.

LeBron no likee that and won’t happen. C’mon Redick and the Lakers aren’t going to do him that way. Rotations though can achieve a lot of particular wants around here. Up to JJ to be smart.

i think reaves was playing hurt before he sat. he put up some numbers with lebron out there a couple times.

lebron off the bench would be a more interesting proposition if we actually had two bona fide three and d guys to put on the floor with reaves and luka. but since we don't, i'd rather just start lebron.
