No, it would be an updated version of “Hair Club for Men.”

I like to see this stuff, if Rob is going to be the guy and he sticks around all I’ve asked is to add more personnel to assist, maybe this leads to that

I'm not certain his gimpy body will even suit up this year. He's falling apart, and sciatica is a symptom of much bigger health issues including LowT. He will experience one nagging injury after another, and the timing will keep him from suiting up. All of those years on steroids are finally catching up with him, and there is a price to pay. Unfortunately we are on the hook for the most expensive cheerleader ever at 50 mil. Doh.

Another thread that has no business a third of the way down Page 2. Finally .... we got a glimpse of this still attacked as woefully lacking by large contingent (not here) roster that Rob was able to put together in the first off season since Luka arrived. Geez too bad it wasn't "perfect" everywhere and on "margins" in the process .... out of the gate. Before we even get to the deadline with ALL assets and picks and expirings intact. The negativity, including wanting LeBron off of it like yesterday .... in some circles is nothing short of amazing, considering the reality of that initial glimpse we got last night. With the whole season ahead, almost, to GEL.

    :Pelinka Double Thumbs Up:

For our needed health, maybe with Ayton's Caribbean heritage he could procure and assemble a JoBu like shrine for the locker room?

rob's got some very difficult and important work to do over the next 8 months. i think he can do it, but the job is definitely not finished.

and not that it ever finishes, but i'm still not at all convinced we can take okc or denver in a series as currently constructed.

I can see why Rob has bought himself time, even if I think we still have a way to go to be contenders. The Luka thing buys you time, it just does, he fleeced Dallas. Got off of AD right at the tail end of his value, which I for one had been asking for for a while. He’s barely played in Dallas, he’s out of shape, and to give up only one 1st with him and no Austin was huge. I don’t like a number of the moves Rob has made, or his approach to roster building at times, but he has also given us some continuity in recent years that seems to finally be paying off with chemistry on and off the court.

Ahh geeze .... of course someone and everyone has to start stirring up s*** in the media with the Lakers off to a great start to the season and room for more moves at the deadline. I guess Mark can do whatever the hell he wants of course, but IMO that would be bush league. He didn't do it with the Dodgers, so why would he do it now, make that radical of a move with the promising start to the season underway.

If I were Mark, I would at least see what Rob can do at the deadline and this summer with a possible huge chunk to bring in a big time player.
Rob hasn’t been half as bad as Laker fans and media have painted him out to be.
I have a feeling that when he feels like the time is right, he will remove Rob at the same time with Jeanie.

It was always just a matter of time before big changes happened. Hopefully they end up being good choices. But being left with this mess is more than a good start if you have to come in and make changes.

    Thank you Nico.

The Luka trade saved Rob's a**, but he deserves all the credit for making it happen.

He's here for the next 2-3 years, IMO. That's fine. Let's see how it turns out.

Only a championship would save his job this coming off-season I will guess
