He's bigger than I thought. Nice to see the in-game athleticism. I don't know how much I will be cheering when he starts bricking 3's, but if he can help a little, that will be better than expected from myself.

he's pretty close to anunoby's size, so he's big for a wing player, and like anunoby, he's agile enough to defend a lot of sgs. it will come down to health and hoop iq. if he has both, he's basically anunoby (though it could be argued anunoby doesn't have consistent availability).

anyway, we clearly thought he was worth moving up for a couple times, so i'm guessing he'll get a legit shot at developing here.

i say this to contrast with jhs, who we clearly kind of settled for after the guys we liked were taken, then kind of left him chained up on the back of the truck. perhaps for good reason, but i think part of it was the organization never really believed. i think they believe thiero has something.

^^^ different time frame. The Eagle was already gone. They kept THT (Klutch) and balked at the extra 20M or more in penalty tax that would have been added to AC’s salary.

The problem was not THT. THT was a risky prospect but he had a lot of potential. The problem is that took Nunn. They should have ditched Nunn and just paid Caruso the extra 4 million.

Regardless this was the one clear example of the Lakers cheaping out during the Buss family era. GS would have just paid the tax hit

Nunn bothered me a lot more then THT as he was a smallish PG who was in and out Spoelstras doghouse. Red flag off the bat is he couldn't get consistent minutes with a coach who is known for squeezing performance out of lemons

Adou is big, athletic and cool as an ice worm on Mendenhall glacier. He is going to be a valued part of our upcoming dynasty. In a couple years we will be saying LeBron Adou?

Sigh .... you were warning about the possibility of the Doncic trade being a mistake too. This is what bathrooms are for after too much beer, not cornflakes.

    lol, LT is that you?

little overboard on this analysis, but i'm glad to see he's on the floor. if i were to counter-over-analyze, i'd say he missed a steal opportunity on a pass just behind him and lost his balance against a guy who's not all that quick, but he was generally trying hard, paying attention, and getting to good spots.

future might be very bright; i'm just not positive it was all on display here. yet.

I was watching youtube in the living room with it raining outside and it popped up in the cue, because I’ve watched other Lakers stuff on phone and computer. Hadn’t even watched all the way through. So went to computer to copy link and share.

I like this kid a lot.

I liked Christie just as much, too.

It's anybody guessing game whether these kids workout & you try to make the best determination. There were some busts I liked, too. I once thought Maxwell Lewis had a shot. Either way, I think he works out. We need to give him time on the floor with the parent club. We play 3 lottery teams before the EOM. Hope he gets some real run.

So much to like about this kid. Even with the real squad, the size for his position really stands out. Movement is so fluid and looks to have natural defensive instincts.

Early returns look kind of like Vando but stronger and not Kwame hands, so he can finish. Not noted in the X post: his stat line was only in 19 minutes played.

See? I always get them confused, and Zen was wondering why?:Laugh:I always thought it was Zen who loves Luka and was surprised he did not like the trade, turns out it was Kenzo
