I'm glad Kawahi and Zion ain't in our team, lol I just saw a video on my YouTube feed called "Is it time to give up on Zion?". Yeah like 6 years ago, I knew after the 2nd or 3rd season he was going to be a bust. Lazy, injury prone, fat and didn't give a damn about the league and the rare opportunity given to him. When he looked disinterested and sleeping on the bench, dude was not a student of the game, should've been black balled from the league right there.
so, when we traded up in the second, the two guys i was hoping we'd draft were fleming and kalkbrenner. fleming was a dnp-cd. kalkbrenner started at center for charlotte in their win, going for 11/10/2 (albeit with 4 TOs) in 27 minutes with a +11. he reminded me of a younger brook lopez in the draft. just curiosities for me.
Kalkbrenner looks nice. But Thiero will blow our minds. I'm hyped Utah destroyed the Flippers. What the hell happened there? Wemby is going to have an insane year. He looks like Giannis but with more handle, shooting and defense. Scary Edgecomb looks like a young Ant. Gonna be an interesting one to see
Don't look now, but Wilt averaged 50.4 in 1962, and now Aaron Gordon is right at 50.0 No, but seriously: Gordon is the Cal Raleigh of the NBA: just keeps working hard and getting better and better. He will regress to the mean, but he'll score way over his career average (13.6) this year if he can stay healthy. SGA went for 55 in OKC's double OT win over IND, but he was 23/26 from the line and 2/7 from downtown. Gordon hit 10/11 from deep and 17 for 21 overall, only 6 FTs: made 'em all. Not bad. Aaron Gordon regresses to the mean; Wilt Chamberlain ascended to the celestial realms. I'm not seeing how starting Cam Johnson is really helping DEN. Prolly won't last.
