interesting that dudley mentions vogel not being able to hire his own guys in that clip, and how it had an effect on accountability.

we definitely saw none of it last year.

denver's not playing around. this is definitely trying to trade on dudz's popularity with players, right?

love their offseason, though if jonas does end up bolting, i downgrade it slightly. that one shocked and terrified me. when jokic sits they just throw in a poor man's jokic?! run the exact same system? how easy is team building around that?

anyway, not the thread. dudley moving up the ranks.

with all kidd's assistants leaving, it feels like he will probably leave soon, but why not just go to ny then? maybe it was really just the mavs not letting him out of the deal. but i'd have let him go if he wanted. why keep someone who doesn't want to be there?

 

We don't know how he is X&Os yet, but definitely a player's coach. Wanted us to move him over to that role but we let him go. He got me free tickets and damn good ones at that to the Lakers game, so I'm always going to be in his corner.

They're definitely rebounding in a way I didn't think was possible. Curious to see the pivot if Jonas does leave.

That is rare that the entire staff moves on. I can't think of the last time that happened and the HC stayed. One might leave for a bigger/better opportunity. They might leave for FO disfunction. Disagreements with the coach. But for all of them to get gigs elsewhere...super odd. If this season doesn't go right, he'll leave next summer. I guess the only way to appease him was to make strong offers to whatever replacements he wanted and he told them just to give him his old Laker buddies.
