Different conversation, Tinkerbell absolutely blew us a shot at a Championship. All we needed from him was to be slightly below average, he couldn't even do that. 6pts 3 assists and less than 20% from 3? That's an absolute choke job, no other way around it. He didn't have an excuse of not playing with Lebron and AD either.

See your 2nd and 3rd quotes below. Yes .... hypocrite! if you're going to tell us to drop it. Why should I/WE deny what we clearly all saw in spite of you blaming it all on LeBron and AD not playing enough together or Vogel or Rob. He's still playing the SAME way. 2 1/2 years later you nonsensical apologist for him.

Lue was the only coach who survived the Westbrick death touch, I included counting Ham in my previous post lol, I forgot he was even a clipper even if it’s in the thread title lol

How odd for YOU. :D Maybe some mirroring going on with the subject of your post induced a brain fart? :giggle:

were you the one that mentioned this theory in game chat? Sounds like this might have some weight, russ minutes reduced immedaitely and pulled out ASAP once russ started messing up

I literally cannot express how much I enjoy watching Russell Westbrook in a Denver Nuggets jersey.

Russ passed up an open 3 to win the game in regulation, tried to bounce the ball off Harden back to himself, fumbled it away with his stone hands, and didn’t get a shot off. So typical. Also I can’t root for anyone in this series, I legit hate both teams.

you root for a grueling seven game series that leaves both teams depleted.

Not sure I want OKC to walk in the West semis. If we make the WCF I want them tired.
A Shai vs Jokic is the series we all want, the ultimate MVP battle

i don't think okc gets tired. holmgren may get injured, but that team is very young.

kawhi has other ideas about your battle right now.

I know not many people like Westbrook here. I've always admired his tenacity and loyalty, he's a flawed player, but he always gave himself to the game. He seems like a very good man off the court with the amount of work he does for the community and charity, and not a single team mate has ever had anything to say about him except what a great teammate he is. But since Washington he has been performing like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde - and I know that's very off-putting for many fans of the teams he played for (mainly Lakers fans as I believe OKC, Washington and Denver all love him, and Clippers didn't mind him).

I'm genuinely happy for him for this series and season in general. He averaged 16/6/3/1.6 on 45/46/70 over 5 games (got injured in game 3 and wasn't active in game 4). I'd argue he won Denver game 1 at the death with his hustle plays and was critical alongside Murray in Game 5 with his scoring on a bad Joker night. Tonight, in Game 7 he blew the game open in the second quarter. When he came in the teams were practically tied and he led the Nuggets on a 17-2 run (he scored 10 points with 3 assists and 2 steals in non Jokic minutes).

I really like Jokic and Gordon. I hate Murray and now that Malone isn't around anymore, I hope they can knock OKC off and go on to win another ring. Jokic deserves it, and it'd be nice for Russ to pick one up.

if russ would have subjugated his ego to be a backup here, he'd have a lot more fans among lakerland.

I don’t have a problem honestly with what you’re saying about Russ. Half of the nightmare was Slick telling us we weren’t seeing what we obviously were seeing him do as a player mentally and physically …. whether or not LeBron and AD were in games with him during his time here even to this day … and ESPECIALLY this from abeer. Bingo!!

^^^ once it became clear that at least was worth a try, instead of being insulted and entitled to be him as always.

I was one of the few defending Russ on the board. I didn't like the extremeness of fans, but I've been pretty honest in that he was bad for us. He's also very fragile ego wise, I get it, he has had a chip on his shoulder his whole life. Then he came to OKC and was a fan favourite, it would be jarring to having a city riding for you, to then going to a place where hometown fans were abusing you and your family.

Regardless, I don't hold any ill will towards him and consider him one of the good guys.
