i figure we're waiting until the last minute due to these financial concerns.

someone who's better with the cap (and has exact current numbers) might be able to tell us whether if we wait long enough, we can cut two players and sign two to replace them.

Raj covers the G-League and swears Koloko is the best defensive big man in the entire G-League. Maybe against smaller teams, but 3 minutes in, I realized he can't play big teams.

We didn't do him any favors by trying to force him the ball in the post like he's prime Shaq, but wanted to get cute and only throw bounce passes that had 88% chances of getting picked or kicked.

Try him a shift against the Suns or Spurs coming up. Please not Denver. If results look the same, keep Jemison as the primary backup.

Yep. Definitely sticking with my theory that he hit JJ's car, took the last TP square, or spilled a drink on his playbook. Or new one: erased JJ's whiteboard to play tic-tac-toe. Cause that's the only reasons I can think of that he's not playing.

Thought he played his a** off last night

With Koloko, Jemison and Kief, I never need to see Len again. Ever.

He's not playing because he's on a two way contract, and his eligibility for regular season games, is almost finished. We are going to have to make a decision soon on him, Goodwin and Jemison. All 3 aren't getting bumped up to a regular contract, we'd have to waive 3 players for that.

That made sense for games he wasn't on the active roster for, but even ones he's been active for he hasn't been playing. To me that shows our hand and JJ probably isn't wanting to play guys who aren't going to be part of the rotation but when Len is not a NBA player...I disagree with the decision.

I think there's a 99% chance Goodwin gets converted. I think Jemison is most likely getting the other spot just based on JJ's usage of them and I think he likes his level of physicality. I think Koloko is out in the cold in this one, we keep him with South Bay and revisit his role this summer depending on our summer moves.

I'm not really sure what we are thinking with the bigs, signing Len still doesn't make any sense.

You know someone been playing well when you're watching the game and you get pissed when they get in foul trouble. Koloko looks like a good prospect - doesn't jump as high as Hayes but probably has better touch.

Christian offers a lot of but not as much of the vertical threat Hayes does but he’s been blowing a bunch of those chippies when he gets them. Hey picture this …. Koloko pays @Kenzo :D  handsomely this summer for a month to come work on nothing but legs and adding 5-7 more lbs in the upper legs and his back pocket weight, and how to keep it on. He could carry around 230-235 and it would help a lot.

Thought he was awful. He had some many free baskets and only converted one of them. I thought this performance and the Nuggets performance would've been swapped. He matches up better in this one cause the Suns interior defense is exceptionally bad, just ask Jax, but squandered every opportunity he was given.

I felt the kid was rushing to "make" the play instead of just playing. His whole night felt like he was moving faster than his brain. Over excited? Maybe. He missed more than a few opportunities because of it IMO. Definitely needs to do better and, more importantly, slow down.

Take a page from Hayes book:

Don't worry about cooking the meal just feast on it when it's served up to you.

Koloko is young, athletic, has size and good defensive instincts and is not a bad rebounder either. He's an interesting prospect. But his offensive game needs work. And I don't mean he needs incredible post moves etc. but just learn to catch & dunk the ball like Jax.
