http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...s-brooklyn-nets-talks-secure-williams-release What is this? 2012? Lol. Cuban might finally get the player that he wanted!
Why would they even want him, I thought they were gonna tank? Oh wait, he might actually help with that at this point. Ok, I'm hating, he's not what he was, but 13 & 6.6 isn't terrible. Depends what they'd pay for him.
who cares? They have ZaZa to build around!!!! They just need someone to throw him the ball to do his thang.
Zaza is scrappy, I think he got him to punch DJ in the throat when they play the clippers. Deron could be a good addition depending on price.
D Will is still in the league? Remember when he was better than CP2? ahhh, those were the good old days.
Yeah then he started getting fat and his ankles couldn't hold the weight. I like Williams a bit. I hope if he finds his way out of Brooklyn he can get back into shape and start being good again.
Once upon a time he was competing with CP3 to be the best PG in the league. Didn't Cuban want him a while ago?
Just make sure Broussard's sources tell Mark Cuban where Deron is staying in Dallas. Don't want to eff this one up.
I hope the Nets enjoy their insanely highly paid core of Lopez, Johnson, and Young, and not winning anything and possibly missing the playoffs.
I think they trade Johnson at some point this season. Still they suck. It's crazy how much too considering how much money they spent. Remember when the Russian mobster said they'd win a ring in five years?
Zaza Dirk Parsons Matthews Williams If healthy and if Deron gets back to his old self, that's a competitive bunch. They need some depth from the bench though.
Yeah but at this stage that's a whole lot of if's. I think Deron sold his talent to the Devil in order to get that last contract, and he ain't getting that back. Sadly I remember when he was in elite point guard conversations. Now he is a footnote of a footnote and almost had the Baron Davis level of relevance and B.M.I.
they still have some cash, I believe, so they might get some more depth. still, lots of injury potential and not strong at center. if things went perfectly, they'd be a playoff team, but I wouldn't bet on it. they should be competitive, though.
Same could be said of us. If Kobe stays healthy. If Hibbert returns to form. If the rookies/sophomores play well enough. And I'm with you on Deron. I don't get how he fell off the way he did. It's not like his game relies on speed or athleticism. Even after injuries, he should be much better.
I think Dallas would have liked to tank...but after Cuban admitted what was going on, if he tanks now, it will be pretty embarassing. But I have to say, thats a good lineup. Convincingly better than ours. But that team, for being a win now team, has little future to get excited about.
